PS3 Ps3 issue playing Ps2 games

So mainly the official Ps2 games work on the Ps3 and loads and shows normally after update the Webman stopped showing the Ps2 playstation 2 game disk that i burned on Dvd and now they don't pay on my Ps3 anymore it's there a way to fix this or do i have to download the iso to USB and move to the HDD?

Have you replaced the internal HDD with an SSD by any chance?

1tb hdd, on the old hacked ps3 the webman would allow me to mount burned ps2 game iso and play it on the normal emulator by passing the ps2 disk verification check after updating it stopped working or don't know what application am missing

Does it show a corrupted disk or something? is cobra enabled? keep in mind that going to recovery mode disables the cobra payload that is necessary for PS2 emulation

Didint managed to get the burnded DVD Isos working anymore must be a software change it allowed me before in the Webman menu to mount the DVD Iso and it played it on the Ps3 menu. Now it seems to only work when i copy the isos into the HDD.

I'm unable to reproduce the issue on my own PS3 unfortunately. If you want, I can try building a debug version of Cobra with some debug prints in storage_ext.c:is_psx() so we can see why it fails.
