PS3 PS3 - liquid metal under IHS, normal PC cooler directly on IHS?

Okay, so far it's good - CPU still 68 degrees, RSX max is about 62, but it's still too noisy for me.
I have a question. Does anyone know how to plug in 2 normal size fans to the JST 3-pin connector on the motherboard?
I'd need some info on that, in order to make an adapter.

There was someone who did it on a A01 i believe, but i wouldn't get the hopes for improvements just yet.

I think he plugged two 120mm Noctura Fans, but the end result wasn't that great, the system immediately overheated, due to poor heat dissipation on other areas such as the XDR RAM/NEC TOKIN,PS2 EE/GS, between others, mind you he was running it without the EMI shield attached, which is kinda why the system was on its last legs constantly, unless you adapt the EMI Sheild by cutting bigger holes to adapt the Heatsinks, your success rate will depend on your work.

I'm thinking of simply putting two hyper 212's on the die with that shield attached, and just put some kind of a plate that will hold it through the holes easily.

Directly on the Die the heatsinks won't touch them, you need to create a sort of a bump to make proper contact, if you are planning to install any custom heatsinks.

They would touch the die of the CELL since it has nothing surrounding it but the RSX has the memory modules which is why it has that little bump to make contact with the die on its IHS.

I cut out a square hole on the bottom of the PS3. CPU temp is 10*C down from 67, and RSX is 5*C down from 62, both are working between 55-57*C.
Without the lower part of the PS3 original case, the temps are 45*C when the fan is quietly on 25% speed.
I'm working on doing something with that fact. I will try to make some stands with some bolts and screws, so it will be pure frankenstein without the bottom part XD

I final found the video that compared the two fan model:

As you can see, he says that the 15 blades one is better and explain also why. Also he mention that he always swap the 19 blades one for the 15 blades. Maybe take a look and let me know what you think
The most important reason why the 19 blades fan moves less air is what he explains at minute 7:40

Is needed to calculate the area of the "hole", with a straightforward math formula
external_circle_area - internal_circle_area = area of the hole

IHS is copper, I know the hard way for the actual heatsink as I needed to get a new one. (worked great for like a week or less)
Personally I like the 19 Blade fan over the 15, I think its noise level is lower at higher speeds vs the 15, but that may be just me.

I use liquid metal under my IHS & Kryonaut over it, works great on my CECHA01.
My Temps start out very low for me, 37c and goes up to 68c at full load at only 28% fan speed.
Why liquid metal under the IHS and not also over it?
