PS3 PS3 OFW 4.84

I have the PS3 CECH-3003B, I've recently updated it to the latest firmware, I've followed the guide for the HAN xploit but the webpage won't allow me to dump anything because I'm on 4.84 and not 4.81/4.82.

Any advice would be much appreciated???

han is patched on 4.83/4.84
 
I've had my PS3 for many years now and was told 3/4 years ago I couldn't downgrade the OFW or use CFW so I never bothered with it. I only found out today through a random Google search that I could use PS3xploit to play PSP, PS1 and PS2 games. Not my fault I didn't keep myself in the loop
 
Anyway rant over, is the plans in the works for the PS3xploit to come to 4.84 or is this impossible due to security flaws being patched???

Ps3 super slim ofw 4.83 or 4.84 can't run han that means can't play copy game & useless
 
Brilliant. I'll bookmark the page and keep my eyes open on this page for any updates. Thanks for the advice guys, hopefully fingers crossed, the devs sort out 4.83 and then move on to 4.84 in the future.

I'm on OFW, because my PS3 cannot be downgraded or flashed for me to install CFW, hence why I'm waiting on PS3xploit to eventually come to the 4.84 OFW so I can use it.

Even if the xploit is found you won't be able to install CFW on it as a CECH3000 uses whats called metldr2 on it and stops CFW from being installed, it would brick your PS3 if you tried to install CFW on this model PS3.

You would be able to use HAN only on OFW.
