PS3 PS3 OFW 4.84

I'm even going to go a step further, because this garbage triggers me.

NOBODY is going to go knock on your door and wake you up out of bed, make you breakfast, and tell you while you are eating that some new firmware or exploit is out. We aren't your mom. We don't change your diaper. We make stuff, we put it up as news. IF YOU FAIL TO LOOK, you FAILED. PERIOD. It's NOBODY'S fault but YOURS. if YOU didn't do the work, or put in the effort to create it, you are stuck.

It's garbage like that "not my fault i didn't keep up" that really aggravate me, because you literally make yourself out to be a liar. Yes, it is your fault. It can't be anyone else's. They have no access to your console, your body, your eyes, or your intelligence. I really don't want to bring bad parenting into this, due to a lack of ownership of faults. So i'll stop there.

Your console state, is your fault. It's your problem. My console works fine regardless of what you do to yours, and vice versa. We are on here to help people that need and deserve the help. Not someone that thinks they deserve it and demands. Nobody was just handed anything.

People that have been here for a while WROTE those guides you follow, or contributed to the software you use. Or they've spent hours on forums reading to help their own situation become just a little better. That's the reason they know so much about this stuff. Nobody gets paid to help you, and it's nobody's job to. It's something people do out of the kindness of their hearts.


That being said, injection method still works for 4.84. Albeit slow, and severely limited compared to CFW or HAN, it is the only current working solution you have at this given time, due to your lack of researching prior to updating. That 5 minutes could have totally given you CFW, but you chose not to take that time, and this is what you have.

I genuinely didn't keep up with the mod since after I got told I couldn't mod my ps3, so that is my fault as well as the other persons fault for lying to me. I've had my ps3 since it was released. But I knew I should have been more aware that people like these guys were worrking hard to create mods for us non-moddable ps3 owners.
 
the only way to jailbreak totally ps3 is find LV0.2 Keys and since fw 3.60 no one discover the keys. Sony is smart and Patched well the entry Point of Xploits ... is very hard to say if han 4.0 will work on 4.83/4 on my Honest opinion isn't go have han anymore on higher firmware.
i want Han Nand Flasher for my 60gb to put cfw but i'm 4.83
only way is hardware flasher...

Nobody lied to you. 3-4 years ago it was true that you couldn't downgrade your CECH-3003B model PS3, and it's true to this day due to metldr2 which @Cypher_CG89 already mentioned. PS3Xploit 3.0, "etHANol" has not even been out a whole year at this point; 4.83 was released October 2018, more than half a year after HAN emerged for 4.81/4.82 OFW.

Again, it's nobody's fault but your own and nothing you say will ever change that. The information is freely available and so the onus is solely on you to keep up to date with the latest PS3 scene developments - or not, as the case may be. Don't hold your breath for a software exploit for 4.83/4.84, as one might never actually emerge.

Don't go blaming someone else for "lying" to you. TBH you "should" of researched this yourself and not trusted the word of someone, who by the sounds of it, hasn't got a clue as to what they are talking about. If someone tells me something I then go looking to see if its true or not no matter who it is.

OK, OK, OK, I get it, I fucked up. I should have done more research after that person said it couldn't be done. I'll have a look at the injection method until 4.84 has been exploited.
 
Jeez give the noobs a break guys.. :) not sure why ye get so bothered by other people being on new OFW. You can't really blame people for not knowing what they don't know.. There are literally people who just got thier first ps3 today..also there had been no new hacks for like 8 years.. So it's not surprising that people were not expecting a new method. Giving people shit for being on latest ofw helps no one.

It's like ye think giving this guy shit over ofw will somehow teach the next guy (who has never been on this site either) a lesson. There are users only just discovering today that they can install cfw, it's not their fault.

Also there is a lot of out of date info out there, most of it actually, lots of it was perfectly valid info when it was written, but it has now become misinformation since ps3xploit came out.
