PS3 PS3 power off/on problem

I am facing a problem with my playstation 3, when I turn off the sony instead of the green light turning red it goes off completely and then I have to turn off the sony (with 220v power) and turn it back on for the red light to appear and I can turn the green light back on, it works normally for hours while i play. The problem occurs every time I turn it off and have to turn it on again, it also makes me set the date/time every time
 
First check if there is a problem with the power supply, also check the ribbon cable on the on/off panel

And if it doesn't save the date, it could be the motherboard battery that's bad.
