PS3 PS3 toolset System Manager won't download

Which Console are you inquiring about?

So as the title says, I can go through the initial process and get a beep on my ps3. Whenever I click "System Manager" or "Memory Manager" the download fails. I have verified time, date, deleted all necessary cookies, set page to blank etc. Just wondering why this is happening. I am on 4.92 OFW on a CECH-2501A, following MrMarios video. Any insight would be very helpful, I'm hoping maybe ps3toolset is just down or something...

No way, I just googled the exact same problem, and I found this forum post from mere minutes ago today!? I'm on firmware 4.82; I guess the both of us just cooked lol.

I observed this and tried on both 4.90 and 4.92. It seems at least partially down, it runs it's initial exploits but cannot then download it's tools for use.

The memory manager also does not work. Likely something has happend in the backend, I tried with two different connections. There is always flash writer if you are desperate and don't mind a little setup, but I'm not in any rush as I am really only wanting to check the syscon runtime of this one (a slim) and keep it on OFW 4.93 for online play, but don't want to update it from 4.92 until I have run the check. It looks factory fresh from a pawn shop but no box, so I am curious.

I reached out to BG, but this is something done for free on their own time so it will be back up when they feel they can. Sadly they get a lost of posts making pressure and demands which doesn't help matters. Seems like you two are chill.

If you wish to jailbreak without waiting though, flash writer (when set up, make a dump and validate it first), will work so that could be worth looking into for you both!

The toolset can often go down due to hack attacks, or general reasons why a site goes down and it seems like the developer does know their self worth quite well as they don't break their back to fix immediately at the pressure some users put on them for a free tool which I am glad they know that! And it means they don't then burn out and the tools are available for longer.

Extremely complex bit of programming that very few humans on Earth can actually do.

Thanks for your response! I also tried wired, wireless and a cell phone hotspot to rule out those network variables. I'm not in any hurry so I'll probably just wait it out. Although if its down for a extended period I may investigate the flash writer process.
