I have a question to the developers of HEN
how can I load linux in HFW 4.84.2 :sco hmmthink:

I have to modify something in my console
the vflash for example ???:sco hmmthink::sco hmmthink:
 
I've been having good luck with multiman so far on v2. Have tested Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Kingdom Hearts 1.5HD, and Need For Speed Carbon. FTP and everything works great with ethernet. Took less than an hour to copy 20gb+ files to dev_hdd0/GAMES. Haven't ran into any problems whatsoever since I'm not trying to use Iris, webman, managunz etc. Multiman seems to be the best option right now IMO to anyone having issues..
 
Query!. ¿To someone else after installing webman mod, the wifi of the ps3 does not connect ?. The only way that the wifi of the ps3 is activated is to do it before enabling hen ... If I activate first hen and then I want to activate wifi internet, it does not activate wifi

I have the same problem, in the 'connection test' Obtain IP passes but Internet Connection fails...but what is weird is that the web browser still works, it still gets a connection

i have not been able to replicate the issue on v2 HEN and i have also since removed that old v1 HEN directory.

maybe somehow that was causing issues? not really sure without testing it with CFW folder back on hdd

I didnt had webman installed so the fan control was not my issue. For testing i did it again from scratch (deleting HEN folder and reinstalling HFW and HAN) installing firstly AIO v1 offline HDD installer and then trying to update HEN with the HEN v2 offline HDD and got the same issue but this time i found that the culprit in my case was the CFW folder because deleting only HEN folder didnt let HEN v2 to install. Its weird that lot of users are lucky with this and dont have this problem. Mysteries of the technology.

Also theres some method or setting for not letting ManaGunz mess with PS2emu files located in /dev_blind if you launch a PS2 game? A user shared a method for fixing the files that is to copy the files from /dev_hdd0/plugins/CFW/PS2emu to /dev_blind/PS2emu but is not very friendly for everyone and can cause lot of damage in noob hands.

i meant CFW folder from HEN v1 hehe. good to know i wasnt the only one that had that pkg issue! @Joonie lmao o_O
 
tried more thing on v2.0

* sometimes HEN fails to load, it ask me to reboot the console and try again. well at least it doesnt crash and corrupt the ps3 hard drive.
* tried ps3 iso files, works well for me, same with folder format games
* homebrews launch fine this time, even with webman loaded
* online doesnt work with webman, but that's what I want it to do so I dont mind. though you actually stay connected to PSN as long as your already logged in and run HEN.
* ps3netsrv is working, but very slow. around 15-20mbit (2MB/sec, FMV stutters like bitch with final fantasy 13 and many more games), ftp file transfer I can get around 15-20MB/sec, same if im installing pkg via ps3netsrv, its just too slow.


Can anyone tell that is ps3netsrv is actually this slow? I was hoping at least 8MB/sec transfer speed (Bluray drive max ripping speed).
 
Just out of curiosity .. Webman mod does not have a file manager? Because multiman freezes on black screen after using the webman mod configuration menu.

1.hen failure is normal so long as success is 80+%
2.iso have higher support actually
3.online stuff... @aldostools know better
4.ps3netsrv was always slow for me when I used on cfw. Maybe try iso instead of jb formats
 
Man, it's been a long time wanting to install that wonderful classic gameboot of the first Firmwares, but only possible in console CFW, will it be possible in the near future to install in PS3 HEN?..it would be wonderful
 
I can not install the WebMAN MOD icon until it appears in xmb but when I activate hen nothing happens at all and when I enter the icon there is nothing there.
