hey I have a serious problem with My Ps3 super slim
a week ago i was playing SAW 1 and pause the game to find cell code on my phone when i treturn to game it froze so i unplugged the power cord and turn it on again but it only show me black screen on hdmi at 576p i could still hear the sound of menu selection i tried the video reset but to no avail so held the button long enough to go in recovery mode after three beeps it showed me plug your controller message and showed all options first i tried the reset default setting option but nothing happened so again boot to recovery tried rebuild database but still nothing so i download the 4.84 update pup went in recovery chose the update option it boot after detecting update but only black screen on controller i pressed x on controller it looked frozen to me so unplug the power cord again Now whenever i try to turn it on light stays solid green no display at hdmi cant in recovery too. Tried av cord but still black screen What should i do plus my cmos battery socket is also torn from motherboard from possitve end

please can anyone help me its serious can i cancel update its asking for confirmation where you agree to terms and that stuff tell me the directions or please atleat tell me is it possible to update without cmos socket

Thank u! That's what I thought however I've installed HFW via storage files (all good) then tried to do the same via recovery mode (as I've seen it should br done both ways) but it keeps coming as NO APPLICABLE UPDATE DATA FOUND. I have done the PS3/UPDATE/. PUP + formatted as fat32. Anyway i went to pa3xploit and tried initiate hen, failed refreshed it and it work however when i tried enable hen.. Ps3hen. Bin missing. Then downloaded it onto my usb (root folder) but that's it. Stuck on what to do next as I keep having the same error. any ideas?

Maybe your Computer is configurted to have invisible file extension so when you rename the file to PS3UPDAT.PUP it is actually PS3UPDAT.PUP.PUP try to rename it to PS3UPDAT only and see again

Answers to some of your questions:
You don't need to convert your games, you can use ISO/PKG/Game folder/PSPISO... and also now you can put the RAPS in dev_hdd0/exdata or dev_usb00/exdata!
Where and if you can put emulators: I'm not sure about that.
HEN stands for Homebrew ENabler so almost all the homebrews run on the PS3. BUT DO NOT TRY CCAPI, IT WILL BRICK!

Hello Everyone

I am new here and I have installed HFW 4.85.1 and installed HEN v 3... Everything is perfect except one issue everytime the PS3 shutdown and start the HEN wont enable ,, If failed many time and after many attempt it finally enabled...

What could be the issue..

but i stuck with ps3hen.bin . cant install it.
Initialize hen OK
install hen .. error, cand find ps3hen.bin .. but is on usb drive.

just navigate to **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) on the ps3 console, and run the HEN Installer, or try the alternate. They both work fine on 4.85 HFW

right now i cant Initialize HEN .. fail

What could be the issue , every time i restart my ps3 3000A the HAN wont enable and fail rebooting... but after several attempt it would start... I even clear cache, history and cookies...

Disable any plugin you might have running and also remove all customization! If that doesn't work reinstall HFW 485 and install HEN.

Hey fellaz....
stiĺ no fix for me not being able to browse my Discs that i insert in on the PS3SS....
some time i can then most of the time i cant ...threw Multiman i mean....to be able to copy or ect......
i can if i reinstal Hen3.0 ..untill i shut dwn.....
then have to reinstall to make the Disc pop up in Multiman File maneger...

I also have an issue now with hen3.0 on my cech3001b, with HFW4.85.1 I think the cause happened after I installed a game demo from hen toolbox1.0 and unlocking the demo with latest psnpatch. After that even after a hen reinstall, 2.4.0 worked first time but then updated to 3.0 and then hard lockup every time I try to enable hen again.

I don't have as much time these days for repeated testing but all worked fine on both hen2.4.0 as well as hen3.0 previously to the game demo I installed under hen3 via method described above.

I hope this info helps find the issues plaguing hen3.0. I can't say that it happens on previous version as I only recently got this ps3 to play with hen features and add another cheap blueray player + for videos etc , my other 2 have cfw.
