This worked for me as well!! Thank you for posting this!!!Omg it finally worked... I tried to initialize it , I it failed so I to set it to main page then I quit browser and opened it again and hen instantly initialized successfully
I wish the auto update thing could be disabled, it's annoying and when everything works perfectly I don't like to update software just because.
ahh yes, forgot about that! Maybe this can also make its way into the next revision!I remember having a chat with @esc0rtd3w some time ago about a feature to disable the auto-update check.
It was a really simple change, like adding a couple of lines of code to the HEN plugin, validating if there was a "disable.check" file and then continue with the normal process.
Too bad the change didn't make it into the new v3.0.1
I do remember that @esc0rtd3w built a v3.0.0 plugin with the "no-update" change. It's buried in one of these threads, if you look around you should be able to find it.
If I have time, I can compile the latest code with the no-update patch, but I'd still prefer this change was part of the official build.![]()
if its just psx isos i would copy one that did that to ps3 hdd and test it. maybe the usb is slow/having problems. Not sure If coincidental but I'm having audio and freezing issues with ISO games after the update, parts of the audio disappear, stutter or become delayed sometimes and a game froze for a few seconds. I did add a new folder to the usb drive for PSX ISOs, I also tried to mount a game while the wrong usb drive was in, not sure If that started it or the update, but I scanned the usb drive and no errors. I did not update the firmware yet either. Can I just download another version of HEN and install on top of this one to revert back and see If it solves the issue?

In HFW 4.86 with HEN 3.0.1 it is exactly the same. You put the rap files in the "exdata" folder (usb or internal hdd) and voila! You start the game from the XMB normally. Greetings.how to activate the rap files ?in 4.85 i just place the exdata folder on the root of the usb and click on the game and thats it
In HFW 4.86 with HEN 3.0.1 when you insert a ps1 game of another region, in my case my ps3 is NTSC and my game Driver 1 is PAL and appear 80028F10 error, i tested the game in disc and psn pkg with rca and hdmi and is the same result, i remember that in HEN 3.0.0 and HFW 4.85 not had any problem to play this game, i hope you can resolve this issue in a future update thanksView attachment 25287
I don't know how you got that working on 4.85, PSX region free never worked fine on HEN due to the limitation we had. We even removed the code that does the video resolution swap..
The USB appears to be fine, read/write same as before and no errors detected, I deleted the PSXISO folder from the folder structure and will test again, hopefully it will work fine.if its just psx isos i would copy one that did that to ps3 hdd and test it. maybe the usb is slow/having problems.
you can get current hen for 4.84/4.85 hfw from ps3xploit site.I have to either update FW/HFW or downgrade to previous HEN, seems like new HEN with previous firmware is giving me problems, Irisman filemanager doesn't work anymore, just freezes my console every time.
Where can I find HEN 3.0.0 pkg? and do I just run it on top of this one?
