HEN will not transfer,probably cos it's not recognized by sony and probably a few other reasons.at least it wouldn't when i did it many HEN versions ago.you could try transferring stuff but i would back it all up beforehand to be on the safe side.if your firmware is already exploitable,that won't change so it's just a quick visit to **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) and you're done.

nothing should change, except if you have themes, you will need to use HFW Tools to redownload them. HEN runs from dev_flash, so even an hdd format should survive

You should have a "Transfer" option when it detects a new hdd also.

If you reinstall any firmware, you will need to run HEN Installer again

its installed to dev_flash since one of the 2.x.x releases
 
@Joonie hello been long time not active ,i have little problem ,commenting cd line in msys profile stop working for me as i do shortcut of msys and it doesn't start at current folder
 
Thank you for the update.
Mine's previously came with PS3HEN 2.2.1, and while it does work, there's still some minor inconveniences that made it a chore, such as randomly stuck while activating or requiring a reset to reapply HEN after opening games/multiman.

With the updates, all of this has been rectified and it even come with new Icon! Thank you for you Dev, salute.

you don't have to recompile hen. the enabler icon is in the catagory_game.xml file. you would just copy a few lines from the 4.86 one and paste into 4.87 file. you only need the part that is enclosed in 'quotes' and has the word javascript in it. i would make you one now but i only have my phone with me and can't get the xml files out of the pkg with it.

I don't know if this is the right place to do it, but I'd like to ask something, and even make a suggestion, if i may:
After you enable hen on the xmb, the "enable hen" icon stays there, next to the game list, and besides being useless by then, it can be accidentally pressed and trigger a fail/reboot (real PITA if you're in-game).
Is there a way to hide/disable the icon after its initial launch? Editing the category_game.xml deletes the icon for good, preventing you from enabling it upon boot... but, is there any other way to do it? Or is it too "deep" in the firmware?
Perhaps something to include in the next revision......

Oh yes, perhaps I do remember that now. Doesn't HEN support external hen loader (from usb) as well?
 
I have installed HFW 4.87.1 and HEN 3.0.2. When i'm running any homebrew app after activating HEN it's always blank screen, and i must turn off my ps3 superslim. What is happening?. Please help me.
 
I need help on updating my PS3 HFW to 4.87 because right I'm stuck on 4.86 HFW and it won't let me update because it gives me the same message "Until Further notice. please remain on this firmware. Visit **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) for new exploit announcements regarding newer firmware versions".

update from recovery mode.
 
installed hen 3.03 and for some reason it shows the icon but no name with it (it is working perfectly just a visual bug )
