PS3HEN PS3HEN - Official Release Thread (Homebrew Enabler for the PS3) v3.5.0 (4.93 support)

Ok. I'll test installing HEN_v2.0.2_Installer_USB_signed.pkg, but using the 482_stackframe with c00 patches in my flash drive.

@esc0rtd3w

I installed HEN_v2.0.2_Installer_USB_signed.pkg and tested stackframe with c00 patches and it froze. Then I turned on PS3 again and tested the stackframe with no c00 patches and this one got hen enabled. Didn't froze, went all the way to closing the browser. If you have another test for 482stackframe.bin with c00 patches. I'm willing to test. I'm already with USB hen installed anyways.

ok, not sure about c00 patches, i just compared 2.0.0 to 2.0.2 stackframes to get changed offsets and added to 4.82 stackframe and checked offsets in IDA

ill have to consult @habib @Joonie :)

EDIT:

wait a minute!!

i ONLY made a HDD package, not a USB one!

Don't you remember? I already tried the v202HDD with 484 stackframe replaced for the 482 stackframe with c00 patches that you made. It freezes... unless it's a different one....

I'm on the latest PS3HEN 2.1.0 and webman mod v1.47.20 over netsrv.

Installing pkgs(Adding them as a secondary menu using PS3_EXTRA) over netsrv seems slow, like 7MBs per second(which seems like the bluray disc limit). Over filezilla copying files gives me 20mb+. Is there any way to unlock this speed to remove the bluray disc limit speed?

I think you need to download and install this toggle_qa and run it. It will bring you back to xmb and then you simply go press L1+L2+L3+DPAD DOWN+R1 at the same time and you'll find debug settings in the settings column (IT WILL BE THE LAST OPTION) to hide it simply restart and to enable do it again! Not sure if there is another way but I'm happy to learn if there is!

Greetings!

You actually dont need the toggle_qa.pkg from REBUG. The .pkg file will first check if your PS3 is on 3.41 or 3.55, then it would go ahead and QA Flag your system (You can check if it works when your System beeps and returns to the XMB). PS3HEN´s payload automatically toggles the QA Flag on its own way.

Conclusion to enable the Debug Settings:

Start up your System, update to latest PS3HEN Version, reboot your System, Enable HEN via the XMB Icon, wait a few Seconds, hover over the the Network Settings Icon (Dont click on it), hold L1+L2+L3+DPAD DOWN+R1 at the same time and the Debug Settings + Edy Viewer and Install Package Files will pop up. (If it dosent reboot the System and retry the steps).

Ok, thanks! That's good to know!

. NO NEED TO INSTALL THE PKG! SIMPLY GO TO NETWORK COULOM AND PRESS THE COMBINATION AT THE SAME TIME!
