Yes, but if it's a firmware executable and it is loaded at boot time it needs to be official. Some hen patches are done in ram, another way is to have hen remap to a modified plugin. So does this allow patching signed executables like BIN/SPRX's?

If you mean game executable then the can be modified easily and just need hen enabled before running the game/app.
That sprx could be remapped to a custom one that allows game boot sounds or it could be patched in ram. Not sure if that sprx is loaded at boot time, if its not you can just replace it. The issue with that would be that you would need hen enabled even to boot official content. How about things like the gameboot sounds? Are they loaded into the memory at startup?
Please I need some help here.
Idk what happened, I was ftping something using multiman and then at the middle of the transfer the PS3 turned off, cutting the ftp connection.
I started the PS3 again, enabled Han and want to try again, however, multiman now doesn't open anymore.
Only a black screen.
Tried black box, also black screen, open ftp 4.2, also black screen, webman and managunz file manager seems to be working normally.
Tried uninstalling multiman, and reinstall it, nothing changed, I went through the license agreement and then black screen again.
Any tips?
Please I really need help here.
Straight from xmb or from recovery?Honestly, you probably need to redo the whole process. Reinstall HFW (twice ideally), HAN then HEN and go from there.
From recovery.....Straight from xmb or from recovery?
Yep that seems to have fixed it.I just had an idea.
Maybe the error I'm getting is because the game I was copying is incomplete.
I'm gonna try and delete it first to see if it fixes
Maybe it could have been that your PS3 was programmed to shut down at a certain time, since when transferring files via FTP, the user can not use the console while performing this operation, so I think the system recognizes that it is not in use , then it turns off depending on the time set. Maybe that was the cause of the interruption. Check the Power Saver settings on the PS3. I think this option should be enabled in the default system settings. as soon as you reinstall FW again, check this option. I do not know if this could have been the cause, but it is good to check if this option is enabled.I just had an idea.

Although multiman now is playing a song I've never heard before, like prince of Persia made song.
Yeah and I noticed it plays songs from my song libtaliand from game files. You can disable it in the multiman settings, it's super weird. I disabled it immediately too haha.
