Why doesn't this support HanTool Box

What I understood about HAN Toolbox issue, it is about the new PKG re-install most of the /dev_rewrite/vst/module sprx and /dev_rewrite/resource/ that HAN was modding.

I saw cute left-overs on /dev_rewrite/resource/explore/xmbcategory_game.xml There's any chance to revert the files to HAN versions? It should work anyway I suppose. (Don't do it yet, wait for dev responses...)

None of us uses HAN toolbox for HEN and we dropped the support by default since this causes infinite spin during in-game, HAN Toolbox is a standalone PKG which can be updated for HEN 2.2.1. Just wait for the proper update from the author.

@Joonie,With this update, does any possibility of the Sprx module (classic gameboot work) ... since we now have dev_rewrite. Or does this module have to be modified to be able to work in HEN?

You will have to re-compile HEN with patches, dev_rewrite works as the same as dev_blind so if you attempt to use unsigned modules for CFW you'll get semi brick.

Ahm! Yeah, I also understand that RAM overflows and infinite loading issues at normal usage with bigger scripts were pretty anoying. As long there's no avaible fix couse it's a Sony FW issue I see this perfect for casual users to remove it. (Even there are new homebrews to substitute this 'STORE' usage with better features, look for them if you need it!)

You never confirmed it, screenshots you posted did not help us at all. no one else is going to make HEN v3

...i can rip dvds now..
But i think i found out what the problem wus.....or i think..

..i use my ps3 super slim without internet wifi..
..so i wus just enabling Hen offilne..
..
Soo now with this new HEN UPDATE 2.2
..i wus having problen installin it..
Because the HAN tool box3.0
Has a Flash mouter...
It didnt ...

So I Used PKGLINKER and put the Hen 2.2 Httml folder inside Pkglinker Folder.
..Ran Pkglinker
Used the new Flash mouter writer..
And got Hen 2.2 going
...then tried to copy Dvd and it WORKED...
...and later i tried to Rip another Dvd ..i couldnt....so o tried the Same dvd i already coped...
..No luck...
..Soo i Ran PKG linker again on laptop ....
And NOW I CAN ,AGAIN..
..maybe my provlom all along wus i had to have Pkglinker running..
.......What do you think..??
I still need to test more...

How can i revert it back to the previous version?? The theme icon install is broken on my side...the pkg don't install...rebooted a few times and no luck.

I have this module, but it has been re-signed to work in CFW 4.84. But it still was not going to work, as you said, you have to re-compile with the HEN patches

well to you...but to me i´ve been getting problems with hen since sometime ago and now it works better but with that low rate like i said...i mostly get that hen failure but it also work sometimes

did you try reinstall hen

Please update the themes! The themes are updated to support dev_rewrite format so if you haven't updated it will give error! BTW can you tell more about the problem if it still exists after updating!

Well, I can only recommend to rebuild the database else reinstall!

I tried to update HEN through auto update in HFW Tools, then my HEN couldn't be enbaled anymore. Then I reinstalled HFW, installed HAN again, but cannot install HEN anymore. Using HEN autoinstaller I get error everytime I try. Please put back the "Enable HAN PKG Blind" option.

What error do you get? And you shouldn't need to install HAN, simply go to HEN auto INSTALL and let it do the magic...

And also if you have PKG manager and HAN installed, go to PS3HEN/DEVELOPER ONLY/mount dev_rewrite flash

After few more tries the HEN installed again with autoinstaller.

Hey, I haven't been able to install HEN properly since the HAN blind option was removed from the drop down... even if I go to the URL manually I still can't install the PKG without getting "error 8001003A"?

I've tried reinstalling 4.84 OFW then running the HFW afterwards once from the XMB and again in service mode or whatever but everytime I try to get HEN... big fat nope.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Keep in mind this is a new HDD so I had to do all of this again, but the options have slightly changed since I originally had this installed.

Ok I have tested this new version of Hen but I have 2 doubts: 1- Why my Han Toolbox dissapeared and where did it go? 2- How can I change the coldboot to the original one?
