If you are on any version above 2.0.2 use HFW tools to update (ONLY ENABLING HEN NEEDED). If you have never installed HEN before, use auto installer (NO HAN INSTALLATION NEEDED). If you want to install the PKG manually using USB and things simply mount dev_rewrite as flash and install the PKG!

i tried this on first run, updating from v2.1.1 and nothing happens really, it still uses v2.1.1 for some reason.

so updating to 2.2.1 needs to download the pkg file, activate the HAN+Flash mounter (now located under developers menu, I dont know why...) and install the HEN v2.2.1 HEN pkg, after reboot its v2.2.1 with obvious changes at boot (instead of PS3 logo its now a golden egg with HEN work on it).

Try the HEN AUTO installer by accessing **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) from PS3.

the update from 2.1.1 to 2.2.1 works fine from HFW Tools HEN Updater menu, and was tested, not sure your issue.

yes the HAN+Flash Mounter is moved to Developer menu because its not needed for normal users anymore, but can be used still

How can i revert it back to the previous version?? The theme icon install is broken on my side...the pkg don't install...rebooted a few times and no luck.

please just download themes again with Theme Updater, the old themes use dev_blind and will not install. The new packages use dev_rewrite

@esc0rtd3w what do you recommend? Install hen 2.2.1 from the "hen auto installer" option?
2) use hen installer pkg 4.84? or 3) enable han flash rewrit and install pkg latest hen 2.2.1? . I'm getting dizzy and I do not know which option is the right one ... If I use option 2 (ps3xploit / 4.84hfw / hen installer pkg): would I need to enable hen before using this option?

Could you explain how to return the hantoolbox to the xmb, and work the hen at the same time ?, I replaced the catergory_game.xml, the store has returned, but hen frizzea again .. any ideas ?, I would not like to lose the hantoolbox

I am impressed how this thing has evolved and now, in order to install it... Only a website has to be visited... Oh, the technology, hahaha.

I found a little bug, the coldboot doesn't show properly in 480p image, see (it is cropped in the far right of the screen):


Also, just a little request... Can the coldboot nor the standard icons be modified by default? I kinda like the original coldboot and stuff

Damn, you're all a pain with HAN Toolbox...

For the newbies : extract this file, put it on USB root (right slot) and done. It will be back on game column.

Most of HAN Toolbox is obsolete anyway - especially since we can install HEN without installing han support files.

Please guys consider HAN Toolbox as discontinued (at least for now) - as I don't see how it can still be usefull with HEN.

Normal user should use the hdd setup - PS3HEN.BIN is included in the PKG.
