Hello.
After updating to HEN 2.2.1 multiman for CFW 4.82 fails to load most of times. I'm pretty sure this wasn't happenning with HEN 2.1.1, but I'm not able to return to it without formatting my hdd to verify this issue
Is anybody else experiencing this problem?
I'm running HFW 4.84

ill stay on 2.1.1.
at least i could run it from local server, no need internet and no problems at all (and hate that stupid coolboot).

will try another hdd on this console and see... .

My opionion is that HEN 2.1.1 was the best. I have no issue with that version, neigher with Irisman or Webman. I have Super Slim 4004C, when I update HEN to V 2.2.1 the problems start. First of all I have 50% realization to run HEN, than, when I try to start game with Irisman ver 4.84.4 and 4.84.5 my PS runs but with black screen and led off! I have follow the procedures of installing HEN as I install 2.1.1. Please, where I can download HEN 2.1.1 to install over again. Thanks in advance!

o return to 2.1.1 with ftp delete all folders from hdd0 exept / home / GAME / game / exdata create a directory and move all those folders and the new folder and after deleting all muves everything back to hdd0

even if you have the 2.1.1 files to reinstall them, your system wont allow you to go back.

when you try to install 2.1.1 pkg you get error 8001003A for ever.

It looks to me like you have not changed anything except stuck your name on it? What are the actual changes?
 
my solution to error 8001003A installing latest pkg :

to exchange the HDD, no other way to solve that.

Now will low level format the other hdd with the error.

low level format is not required. the error 8001003A is simply caused by not having the correct flash partition mounted. It basically means "flash path not writable"

there is dev_blind: http://xmbmods.co/b
And dev_rewrite: http://xmbmods.co./r

That is all, for older pkgs use dev_blind, for newer 2.2.1+ use dev_rewrite

ill try 2.2.2 version when flash partition issue is fixed
(and coolboot deleted and files clearly renamed).

the theme failure is because old themes use dev_blind, the Theme Updater in HFW Tools is exactly for downloading new ones :rolleyes:

I've updated my themes and it works to install the stock theme. But, do you have a HEN logo without the egg in the background? Just the HeN text? The egg doesn't fit my xmb icons.

Edit: Some dude named @Ralpz created icons without the egg in another thread.
 
you never ever need to low level format a modern drive.99 percent of times simple quick format will be enough,at worst case scenario you'll need to rewrite the whole drive with zeroes or ones.

if the drive is beyond that it needs specialized software (a.k.a. "regeneration" software,mostly snake oil) but in my whole life i've seen maybe couple of times any benefit of doing anything with that kind of software (mostly light corruption caused by psychical force that would probably been corrected with simple one pass of zeroes or ones).

but im posting a real problem and you only try to
discredit every word that I and others say.

tryed everything you could and not imagine and nothing worked, THAT is a issue, from you.
