Sorry, I thought it was that wayJust reinstalling a firmware does not format the drive. Which is why all your games and game saves are still there after an update.
That's what I thought because I always did it with a blank hdd and firmware said it was going to format the hdd, but I didn't try with a previous installed osNo worries, I'm by no means an expert. We are all learning here.
@spirallingspiral are u using latest version of webMAN? The latest version is 1.47.22, I didn't have problems after update but I don't use Retroarch sorryWebmanmod seems to be causing a lot of crashes for me. I was testing Retroarch, running Genesis roms used to crash my ps3, Snes and Nes worked fine. Some homebrews after running it a second time caused a crash. After removing webmanmod i haven't seen a single crash and even genesis roms are working on retroarch, why is webmanmod causing these compatibility issues? or am i doing something wrong.

I would help you but I don't use Retroarch, so I don't know what problem you are facing, sorryYup i was using the latest version.

Thanks. This is what I needed. One other thing. If I have hen do I need han toolbox? Basically I am trying to install some homebrews and they all install with no error but do not show up in xmb.
I was using webmanmod 1.47.20 and retroarch without any problem at first boot.
I've just updated to webmanmod 1.47.22 and retroarch is still running.
I've just tested megadrive genesis with aladdin EUR ROM and it's working
Exit from retroarch to xmb and restart retroarch for 3 times without rebooting and working ok. This time tested with genesis Alex kidd in the enchanted castle ROM
Hope this helps![]()
