Yeah, that is something to be aware of, the PS3HEN.BIN has now moved to flash in 2.2.2 . So if you use an old category_game.xml from 2.2.1 or lower, for example because you get one that adds the HAN Toolbox query back, it will be pointing to the BIN on HDD. so by changing that one xml, you can downgrade your HEN to whatever version you have on HDD. Keep that in mind.

Looks to me that reinstalling webman after HEN update is also a good practice.
I had some freezes after updating and this solved the problem.

Why some people are reporting FTP service as working after installing just HEN 2.2.2? This should be put to an end because some users will get confused.

I think it's worth it for the ones who want to transfer files easily from PC to PS3. I mean, you don't need to use it if you don't want to

The problem lays on running multiman with webman enabled.
There's some kind of incompatibility with both of them managing the ftp server.
I tried dissabling the ftp server on webman but that completely kills the service and MM is not able to start it after doing this. Looks like webman has priority over the system.
My system is pretty stable if I run MM after a reboot just after enabling HEN but it's not 100% fawlessly.
I have to do more testing, but I'm not a developer, so probably I won't find the exact problem.
Nevertheless, at this point, system is completly usable with not many problems

HEN update from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 has shown an improvement on ftp server managing issues, so some people think that they're both related, and developers didn't say anything against this matter
 
can someone please lend me a valid category_game.xml please, I fucked it up by replacing the original with a botched one from a rando site and it hides my enable hen button

i have 0 issues using WebmanMod as FTP. I do not use Multiman, but we do test it and it works fine for us, so not sure where the issue is. We also test on clean systems

just use browser and load hen that way

then reinstall package or use FTP

But if you use multiMAN while webMAN activated when enable HEN it will give a black screen due to Memory problem, at first time worked for me, but others times I started have this problem, now use multiMAN without webMAN and works fine MM, maybe this problem they both use FTP Service
 
So I was reading the warnings, (my consolenis cfw compat.) and it mentions don not install ccapi. Is this the same for cfw user as well? I have been in a cave for a while and wondering if something has changed while I was napping.
Other than that this looks like a awesome release, and lots of hard WORK and TIME. Thanx to all who have dedicated the time and work
Does this exploit the browser like the ps4! Or is it a different approach. Anyways kudos!
