I tried deleting act.dat and when i copy it back it disappears on reboot, I have to copy to back each time in order to play any game. Help please.

I only use webMAN and multiMAN as homebrews, idk about the plugins which configurations or plugins you have now I'm wondering

Which steps I have to do to reproduce this issue?

Edit.: I was able to reproduce the issue. It occurs when webMan is loaded.

Everything was working good, then I just had to try and fix the 80029519 error.

Reinstall 4.84 HFW and then format your HD. Then install HEN via your browser.

hey thanks for the reply am i correct in thinking i can wipe it using recovery mode? also im guessing you mean the ps3 internal 12gb HD as i have games etc ripped on my 500gb hdd which i dont want to lose.

If you just want to start from scratch with HEN, then just reinstall HFW. Dont worry about the hdd files, they should just get over written when you install HEN the next time.

If you still have hen working now, you could delete the dev_hdd0/hen/ folder with ftp or a file manager before you update the FW, but its not majorly important.

PS3HEN 2.3.0/ webMAN 1.47.24.1 - LITE/ multiMAN 4.84 HEN/ PS2 launcher rebug 1.0/ HEN Store & HEN toolbox, all running sweet so far. NO black screen or shut down problems after 3 hours of use.

hey managed to find my usb stick with hfw from the first time but i tried to reinstall and it came up with the you are already on the latest firmware etc.

As Imn7 said reactivate your PS3 for game as it will recreate the ACT.DAT. You'll need to be signed in so... Sign in on your own risk!

Shut the hell up. It says they fixed the freezing when activating HEN. It's not working as it still freezes on my PS3. I said I would stick up to a version that actually works. So shut your mouth, junior.

Not sure what could've caused that but I assume you don't have a internet connection when enabling hen so that might be the reason for freeze. There is a fix that will release in the next 24h

Hot fix 2.3.1 is done just awaiting the team to release it. If you find one version works best use it but keep it civil guys or take that somewhere else. Users have been warned, we aren't babysitters and these guys do this for free. We welcome issues so they can be fixed but I'm not gonna deal with children here.

Some people don't realize that HEN is really a landmark in the ps3 scene. Utmost respect to the devs behind it. Its sad to see these entitled comments.

I completely agree with you. What we post here is for HEN improvement, and we thanks everybody that colaborate for their good work.
But we don't need those kind of comments that adds nothing to the comunity, and shows lack of tech knowledge and bad manners
