I just reinstalled hfw and hen. Made the whole system run smoother. If others are having issues, I definitely say try it.

I still got a few more hard freeze situations on my super slim, but I think they are mostly attributed to homebrew compatibility, I only use Irisman and Multiman. Either way it might help to list them.

Trying to access Irisman results in a hard freeze in the following scenarios
-After playing a PS2 game
-After playing a PS3 game ISO either from external NTFS or internal
-A controller plugged on usb port1

-Multiman doesn't seem to play games from NTFS, tried a couple and it resulted in a hard freeze for both games, plays fine from internal

So I highly advise to reboot your console after playing a game be it PS2 or PS3 ISO If you're planning to access homebrew apps afterwards.

The tutorials are outdated. Use Auto Installer on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) . There is no need to install han just install HFW and use HEN Auto Installer. A manual way is installing the latest pkg using han and mounting dev_rewrite from **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) before installing the PKG

Yes that is the auto installer. Don't enable HAN and use the HEN Installer. If it freezes the use HEN Installer (Alternate) Else under "4.84 HFW" there is a option Enable HAN ReWrite do that and install the latest HEN 2.3.1 using PKG Manager.

With Webman MOD you can controll the fan speed, load games from xmb, use PS3MAPI RTM, and more... Not sure about the stock WEBMAN if you mean that.
The latest WMM and stock WM supports HEN flawlessly.

can someone help me pls

i´m having problems running ps2 games, i converted the iso`s to bin.ec then copied them to the hdd ps2iso folder, installed the ps2 iso launcher 1.03 and activated the rap with psnpatch but when i mount the games and launch the ps2 classic the screen just fade to black and later the tv signal get lost as if the hdmi cable isn´t connected and stay like that till i reset the ps3...what i´m doing wrong ?

i also tried with the ps2 launcher rebug but happened the same, the games i tried are lemmings and persona 3 fes...checked the wiki and they are playable it seem

On HEN put rap in dev_hdd0/exdata. On REBUG you will maybe need to convert rap to rif or pkg using habibs resigner tool. Or you can try other homebrew that activates rap on cfw

im on hen (2.3.1) tried copying the rap to the exdata folder on the hdd and re-installing it but no luck
my ps3 is a slim so any other advice ?

On any CFW you put your RAPs in dev_usb0/exdata, then use PSN Patch to install them, you don't need to convert or resign anything to do with the RAPs on CFW.

Any way to disable system overheat warning when i dont have active the control fan, this cause i prefer the syscon, and the warning showing over and over when i play some games. Tank you and sorry for my english.

PLEASE HELP!
I have PS3 Slim 3008. I install HFW 4.84.2, after then i install HEN. It works, but every time I activate HEN, (Enable HEN) it starts downloading and installing the file "Latest_hen_installer_signed.pkg" again and again. I already tried to clean the browser, reinstalled HFW and HEN, but nothing helps. And I met a few more people who faced this problem after upgrading to version 2.3.1.
