You should not update if you're using HFW .84.

The new HEN still may have problems with a few apps.

I don't think it's worth it just to update your trophies.

Yeah, that's it, double install hybrid firmware, disable warning to close windows in browser, save home page, use hen installer.

What you recommend me using to update my trophies?
In Reddit someone said something about something in brewology store they will spoof the system to make it look like 4.85 and would be enough to sync the trophies.
But idk because he said he didn't use hen so he wasn't sure if it would work.

He was probably talking about SEN enabler, Its spoof is not compatible with HEN. There is a method of spoofing using webMAN, or there is another method using a proxy application on PC, but tbh now that IRISMAN and Managunz have been updated for 4.85, there is not much reason to stay on 4.84 anymore.

At the same time, I'm not sure if its worth updating just to sync trophies.

Put this txt on the root of dev_hdd0 then reboot. Make sure you have fairly new webman, this feature has only been added in the last few months.

you can't "turn it off" when it isn't enabled, just don't try to enable it and you'll be fine.

I still use HFW 4.84 with HEN updated to 2.3.2 without any problems so far. It is safe to update from the official page of ps3xploit or from the update tool. Regards.
