PS3HEN 3.2.0 has been released. There is currently only support for 4.90 at the moment, but older firmware will be added over the next few days, and the hen_version.bin will be updated for auto updates.

How am I supposed to enable HEN if it is not installed on the console? I don't have any plugins installed, I guess webMAN MOD is still on the HDD.

See the notification, HEN is enabled at this point by the auto installer that's when the console froze.

he is correct, once you click install hen from browser, hold R2 button and it will bypass plugins, then load homebrew ftp and remove wmm or other plugins that are outdated

EDIT: or copy boot_plugins.txt thats blank and put on USB, it should have same effect, disabling wmm and other sprx plugins

the cinavia should be working now. Joonie fixed a hash value. THe cobra 8.4 stuff maybe. I know @bucanero submitted a PR for 8.4 mamba stuff, but now conflicts with base. Joonie also said he may work on that.

btw, HEN will still report as 3.1.1 being the newest version when launched, but thats because if i update the hen_version.bin on server now, the people running HEN on older firmware will just keep getting update notification and it will download the 3.1.1 release again for them. Once all older fw packages are ready, that will be updated.

Updated all fine from 4.89 to 4.90.1 HFW and installed HEN 3.2.0!

I've also had mentioned freezing issue, put blank boot_plugins.txt on root of USB drive solved it - I believe I only had webMAN installed prior to this.

Does homebrews still detect HEN as cobra 8.10 or its corrected ?

I was checking the 3.2.0 master branch and the Mamba 8.4 PR, and all the changes from @OsirisX are already there, the only issue is the PS3MAPI CORE version ID, that should be 0x124 and right now is 0x122.

I have created a new PR with the missing changes, including a Makefile for PS3HEN Gen tool. Please @esc0rtd3w could you review and merge?

Thank you so much for new hen update . It seems perfect with no issues...

i confirm the blank boot_plugins.txt method on usb works to avoid enable hen black screen...

i explain my situation:
On my ps3 i had old webman 1.47.40 version installed (that's why i had a little problem with webman refresh games with 1.47.41, so i decided to stay on .40 version until today)...

Without usb blank boot_plugins.txt put on ps3, i always had freezes when i enabled hen through XMB.
So i restart ps3 with usb to initialize a perfect hen enable , I installed full webman latest version (.44) and it seems there are no problems anymore.

Obvious Conclusion for me: Before install new hfw 4.90.1 & hen 3.2.0, uninstall or update latest webman to avoid freezes!

will give this a try,have already updated webman.im currently on 4.88HFW and will update to 4.90 when im done with my current game and report back.
