Does ps3mca-tool-1.953 exist anywhere? I use the memory card adapter to install Free MCBoot, but I cannot find version 1.953. I am currently using 1.94, which is the newest I can find. Is there a way to update the files in the 1.94 version to use 1.953? 1.966 does not work with my SCPH-15000 "protokernel" model.
 
I made for you 1.966 with BDM but you ignored it... You don't know if doesn't work because you didn't check that, just based on El_Isra mention from the past. Author of FMCB 1.9 line said it works.

You can take FMCB 1.953 Installer, take files from it and replace in package with PS3MCA Tool.
 
He can also install FMCB v1.94 via ps3mca-tool and then later update FMCB from a regular installer.
For that installer with v1.953 or even 1.966 can be used on a console.

Yes, He said 1.966 does not work with my SCPH-15000. I will try what you made to make sure.
