Hi guys.
Like the title says. Is there any alternative plugin for xpad?

I want to use properly my Dualshock4 on the PS3 but every game I try the plugin doesn't recognize the inputs only the PS button.

So far I've tried these games: Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Metal Gear Solid 4.

Only MGS4 works properly.
Red Dead Redemption doesn't accept any input.
MGS HD Collection only works in game selection meni, after choosing a game it's gone.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma shows a hdd notification when starting the game I press X and it accepts. After that is gone.

I've tried the compatibility mode and changing port number but no success.
Any recommendations?

Thanks
Best regards!

i think it works without the plugin. but vibration thouchpad etc dont work. neither does ps button but you can use a bdvd remote or ps move navigation controller to press ps. use usb wire or try registering it as bluetooth device.

Yes it works without the plugin but the problem is that ps button doesn't work. That's why I use the xpad pluggin and I want an alternative if possible.

Agreed, Brook Wingman XE is the way to go.
I own a pair myself, as I quickly discovered my previous adapters did not work when running PS2 games on BC consoles.

Although partial support for DS4 controllers were officially added at some point via a FW update, I wonder if it's possible to modify what $ony did and enable full support?

that'd definitely fix a LOT of problems, such as inputs getting stuck at random, full analog range on both sticks, diagonal inputs on the d-pad, PS button support, etc.
