PS3 4.xx IDPS DUMPER

This utility/hack is performed on the PS3's Internet Browser from System Firmware 4.82 (OFW) and dumps your console's IDPS. ​

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • It's essential not to flood the browser memory with junk before running the exploit. The reason for this is that due to javascript core memory usage limitations we are scanning several times a small range of browser memory (a few Mb) to find some essential data in RAM, if the memory is flooded then the range to scan becomes much larger & the probabilities that our data is found in the smaller range decrease dramatically....
  • So in short, never use the browser or use a homepage you cancel before running the exploit!
  • It is recommended to set your homepage temporarily to the exploit page you wish to use to ensure there is no memory flooding messing with the exploit initialization stage.
Steps:
  1. Open the browser & browse to the **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) website, go to the page of the exploit you need (link). Set the current page as browser homepage. Don't launch the exploit initialization. Close the browser.
  2. Open the browser. The exploit page will load automatically. Choose your dump path option.
  3. Press the exploit initialization button & wait until initialization succeeds. If it fails, follow the refresh/reload instructions on screen.
  4. Trigger the exploit by pressing the dump button.
  5. On success, check your idps dump with an hex editor.

Nowadays you should use (or at least try) "v3 HAN Tools > *Extra Tools > IDPS/PSID/Minver Dump > Run This Tool Now"
 
Hi Guys,
I have 4.85 OFW, is there any chance to check my IDPS without backup/restore (and losing all data)?
I haven't played for a while and thought I could make some fun with my saves and maybe copy them to the 2nd ps3 I have at my mother's house. But to do this I must put IDPS in Bruteforcesavedata and I cannot find any method to check ID without format.

You get your IDPS without backup/restore even without losing all your data and no bruteforce from saves needed just follow those steps :
  • 1-Install HFW 4.85.1
  • 2-Go to Internet Browser
  • 3- but_tri (1).png->Search,type ps3xploit and click on first link
  • 4-Flash Dumper Tab->Dump IDPS
  • 5-Triangle->Tools->Home page->Use Current
For better result do those steps before Exiting Internet Browser
  • 6-Delete those :
    • but_tri (1).png->Tools->Delete Cookies
    • but_tri (1).png ->Tools->Delete Search History
    • but_tri (1).png ->Tools->Delete Cache
  • 7-Exit Internet browser
  • 8-Scroll between XMB category for 5second to free some memory
  • 9-Go back to Internet Browser IDPS Dumper page will open
  • 10-Click on Initialize ROP for "Your Console Flash Type" console then
  • 11-Dump IDPS to USB or Card device
