If they didn't want to be responsible, why bother mentioning it at all? That's my whole point and I stand by what I said.

They went on about unofficial versions being a bad thing, then went on to basically tell them to go ahead and find it. All that does is cause people to possibly damage their installs and come here to complain about it as if it's the fault of the devs here.
 
I think it's the end, my ps3 doesn't activate for nothing it just stays on the welcome to hen 3.2.0 screen I already uninstalled and installed it I did everything but it didn't work, so I'll say goodbye to my console. :blue:
 
It's not dead - if you just want to get it running, reinstall HFW 4.90.1 from service menu and then install HEN - it'll work.

However, I think you might be doing something wrong, as this behavior you've described means some plugin is crashing system - the USB trick should do the job for this issue. Make sure that it's formatted as FAT32 (same as when updating FW from USB) and that you insert it to rightmost USB port.

I updated, reinstalled, activated, my usb is new, how can it be, I did the installation procedure but the same thing continues
 
I was looking at some things, I'm going to see if I can access the ps3 from the inside (not literally) and I'm going to check if there are still any fixes from the store because these most of these fixes come with the hen installer, the stores were excluded but their fixes weren't

I had the same problem , I fixed it , you just need to reinstall hfw , when installing hen you uncheck the auto close browser box , which is next to auto install hen

Thank God, I did it, thank you so much I just created a boot_plugin.txt file to install and that's it, thanks for the tip man you helped me
 
well, the wait is over, finally our dear hen is now at 4.90, and it's better to enjoy it because you never know, maybe sony will go crazy and update to 4.91

I've been running Hen on my ps3 forever, now the whole hard drive and update screwed me this time. Sucks because I was just getting comfortable. How long does it usually take to tweak with the exploit?

I figured i would just make this thread to keep track of the current status of the PS3Xploit server(s).


Due to many current things going on, we will be hosting http://ps3xploit.me on another temporary server until the dust settles and some things can be addressed.

All of the files will be available, except the BG Toolset, as it will still be unavailable for an unknown amount of time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Some things to do soon
  • PS3HEN will release as 3.20, with 4.90 support
  • Website will be updated to support 4.90
  • BG Toolset is out of my hands and I will leave that to @bguerville , as he currently has his own personal issues he is dealing with.

If I enter ps3xploit.me or ps3toolset.com it comes out that I don't know what to do could someone help me

Hi is something wrong with the website when i access it i get an error like this:
