PS4 PS4 recognize option and screenshot button but no PS button after WiFi Chip change

There's no schematics for PS4 I think. Don't you have anything with little resistors like those? If that's the real value, you could try even a bigger one, like those old resistors.

Actually I bridged it just to see if it would turned on but nothing. Also there's power through the motherboard so I really don't know what could be
 
But what were you doing before this happened? Soldering the module? You could try to remove it to see if the console boots. Did you make sure nothing else is missing?

Yes, I just tried to set better the module to see if it would works. Well I've tried to compare at my best and no, nothing else missing. I also dessoldered the NOR to see if it was the problem

The console won't even try to boot without the NOR chip I believe. Better remove the module and check for shorts on the mobo. There must be a few fuses here and there, check them. You can't do anything else without a schematic sadly.

If the console has a light on after you press the power button and turns off instantanly, then you have a short.
 
I would be very happy to have a short, at least I could figure it out what it could be, but in my case just nothing. Tomorrow I'll try to see if there's continuity in the NOR pin, but it did this before I dessoldered the NOR

Trust me, having a short on a PS3/PS4 is no joke. Good luck :encouragement:
 
I don't know if this is a short but I tried to short the 1-2 PSU pin and the fan spins for a second (sorry for the shitty video)
 
That's pretty normal when you ahve this kind of problems. If can't find any shorts, then something's burned.

So i've tried:
1) BT module + Jumper
2) BT module and no Jumper
3) No BT Module + Jumper
4) No BT Module no Jumper
but the results are always the same. Iìve also checked for missing parts but nothing noticed
 
Re-flash the NOR, and make sure every pin is well soldered. I don't know what else you can do, since having a dead console is already complicated. Always use flux.

I'm about to buy a dead one soon, let's see what happens.
