More interested in the Slim model and price :P .. I never get too excited about next gen right away. Good to see the speculation circle come to an end :)

edit:
If i pick up one its going to be the disc version, but i kind of wonder if a Slim model would axe the disc drive.

Im not going to buy it at launch either, im more a fan of the "slim" versions too but maybe is going to take so many time
Unless someone hacks it, if that happens i would be in a hurry to buy one before sony blocks the exploit :D

And btw, for hacking purposes the "PS5 NoBD" model looks like a good option... you know, less hardware parts to worry about, so less prone to malfunction and less problems

Some leaked photos

This ones are interesting too, it can be seen the back of it

All that air vents at the top seems to indicate that the fan is huge (and this is good, the bigger the fan the slower you need to spin it to move the same amount of air)
Right now i think the fan is taking almost half of the space available inside the case... thats why the PS5 is so big but they doesnt wants to talk about it yet because the standard consumers would not understand why the took that decission

I mean... if the noise levels are very low and the payback is to oversize the console is ok in my oppinion (kind of industrial design where you focus more into performance than making it pretty), but the only way to convince the consumer that it was a good decission is if they tryes themselfs

I am more interested in question, how much is Sony actually loosing on the hardware?

Without going into too much technicality, i figure Sony is loosing atleast $300 per console, which they will cover in long term from consumer.

With all the investment put in by Sony, the CPU & GPU alone which are quite powerful have to cost at least $500 itself. Then you add the cost of all bits & bobs, Motherboard, SSD, Controller, RAM etc etc. I think real cost of PS5 is around $800-$900 dollar per console.
