@CosmicScale So I was making my hdd, and I noticed that during making the hdd, it sates after choosing POPS partition size that it can be resized if needed to make more room for PS2 games, however I was under tge impression that we needed to do all partition work with the scripts. i have about 45gb of POPS VCDs (so i chose a 46gb partition) but if i find i remove games later and/or just need a smaller partition, how do i go about this?

So if I don't have the size correctly the first time, I have to completely remake my hdd to fix it… ok…

It is how Sony designed APA. Consider it as chain of small partitions from which partitions are assembling and which next one, needs preview one. For the same reason it is not possible to delete APA partition, in reality when you doing that, it is renaming.

Technically it is possible to shrink or expand but no software exists which can do that safely. And because PS2 firmware cannot be normally updated, we cannot get rid of APA (on HDD, it is the only logic structure which fw understanding). That's why I made workaround called APA-Jail and that's why PSBBN DEP using it (because PSBBN itself have additional restrictions, but this time came from kernel).
