PSN Cloud Saves

Hi all
Just wondering if there is a way to download save games that were uploaded to PSN cloud storage but instead of on the PS4, actually download then to a PC to be resigned with Apollo

No.

And Apollo will not resign encrypted save because key(s) and the way how PFS containers with saves are build, are yet unknown. It asks PS4 to do that, but PFS on internal HDD are encrypted per console keys, so to decrypt them, You need console which created them.

But high probably, saves uploaded to Sony cloud aren't encrypted so it would be sufficient to just transfer this data into mounted pfs. But anyway, we don't have access to that on PC.

Yeah i figu S wamoe cause I had a ps4 on newest firmware (9.00 at the time) that I used as a main system Then I had my 9.00 and wondered if I could get the saves from my "main" PS4 (but which was saved to cloud)
Subscription now expired but wondered if I could get my save data from the cloud and use on my 9.00 gold hen system

You can import it if the 9.00 firmware system has the same ID as the one that is on PSN is the same ID, when the account doesn't match you need to resign the save like tools like apollo or save wizard in order for it to work for another user. Do keep in mind you can only import/export PS4 save not PS5 games save.

I knew I would be able to use the saves if I could get them.
My GOLDHEN system is offline activated with the same ID as my official system is/was.
So how I'm seeing it is that I would need to use my OFW PS4 to get the saves from the cloud, as there appears to be no way of easily doing it using a computer.

There is no way to get them off the cloud with a PC. So yes you are correct in your assumption.

To be honest, I was only eating the saves so I could pick up where I left off on some games without using other people's saves. I'm not to fussed if I can't get them as I no longer have the up-to-date PS4 so can't log into the PSN account on the PS4 I do have.MMaybe I could use a friend's PS4 and download them to a usb that way.

Yes, that will work. PFS for exported on USB containers using static keys and data is signed to Account ID. In other words: You can export saves from one console and import them on another, as long on both, SEN user is the same.
