Hi,

I'm using DARKNET cobra 4.66 v1.02, webman mod 1.34.04. After the update of psnpatch 4.66.30, I cannot play The Last of Us online mode, it's stuck in the connection process. Psnpatch 4.66.22 is fine. Could you find out what's wrong with the lastest version and fix it?

By the way, I have updated the psnpatch plugin and read the instrustions carefully.

Thanks.

Please do me a test:
A Reinstall Darknet.
B Reinstall PSNPatch 4.66.22.
C Disable CFW WITHOUT Installing stealth extensions (if you install them you will be back to darknet 1.00).

Report back the results.

Repeat the steps you mentioned above, the online mode isn't working either. It's stuck in the connection process.

DARKNET 4.66 cobra 1.02, psnpatch 4.66.22 normal cobra mode.

Do you know what's wrong with it?

Thanks.

So I have PSNPatch 4.66.30 installed with CFW Darknet 4.66 1.02
And the the IDPS/PSID feature doesn't work. I load up the program on the ps3, and press Square as it says on screen, but nothing happens.
I also tried the X option to spoof and exit, but the IDs don't change that way either

Is the newest Darknet cfw not supported?

Every 4.xx firmware is supported.
You are clearly doing something wrong. As you haven't posted enough info, I suggest you carefully reread the instructions.

I've been using this to change my consoleid and disable my cfw for online use for over a year with the same replacement consoleid. I've used it on like 10 different cfw's and I still haven't had my replacement consoleid banned and I've never encountered a single issue with any of the versions. Thanks for all your hard work. It brought psn back to my console that was banned back when Borderlands 2 first came out.

Wanna report a bug:

The "PSN Patch"-spoofer seems to cause that PS2 ISOs no longer run on my system. With spoofer enabled PS3 completly shuts down, when trying to start a PS2 ISO. Even the standby-led goes off. When deactivate the spoofer PS2 ISOs starts as normal.
My system is nothing exotic: Rogero 4.46 Cobra CFW + latest muliMAN + latest webMAN-mod + PSN Patch 4.66.30 + nothing else

Regards
Rudi

Hi:

Thank you for your report.
Please tell me if you're talking about the IDPS/PSID spoofer or the version spoofer.

upps.. sry.... i meant version spoofer

Ok. I think I know what's happening:
Starting with version 4.66.30, stealth extensions stopped being distributed.
But stealth extensions were distributed with a small change in stage2.bin to recognize changed vsh.self files (needed to spoof new firmware versions).
The lack of this small change implies some ps2 emul issues, as the ones you're having.

A new psnpatch version will be made to re-include stealth extensions when spoofing the firmware version.
You should receive a PM today with a beta version for you to test.

Thanks

Hi! Please excuse me if the questions were already answered, but I didn't find the discussion.
Firstly, if I try to install many raps, the list in psnpatch gets broken on the 24th line and the entries starting with the 25th one are not displayed including the "press start" line. Does it mean I should install less than 24 items per time?
And secondly, as far as the homebrew masking function is concerned, is there any difference between using MM/MMCM or Singstar replacement or webman?
Thanks!

No. just the first 24 items are displayed but all games are properly patched.
This happens because psnpatch unlocks every C00 demo, even if it is already unlocked.
One of the next psnpatch versions will be changed to unlock only games that are not yet unlocked.

About the 2nd question, is out of the scope of this topic, I suggest you to create a new topic specifically addressing your issue.
This will not only keep this topic cleaner, as your topic will be seen for more people that could help you.

PSNpatch - Information / Releases

Thank you! Do I need to keep the aa user (used previously only to install raps with reactpsn) - to keep the data after switching to psnpatch? Or can I delete this dummy user in XMB?

You can delete the dummy aa user providing you have a valid user in your system (a user you had used to previously connect to psn and activated to play games using the account management menu).

IDEA: Could psn patch generate the 2P0001-PS2U10000_00-0000111122223333.rap for PS2 Classics and install *automatically* the rif if there is not one present in the system when PSN Patch runs?

It would simplify a lot the process of setup for PS2 Classics. Alternatively you could auto-install that rap in the process that unlocks the C00 games.
Although I think it would be easier for noobs if it is done automatically.

That is a great idea !
Consider-it done :)

Thank you very much.

Hi kokotonix,

Are you planning to solve this problem?

Thanks.

I cannot replicate that issue.
It may be related to the CFW pathces or the backup manager or the game itself.

I advise you to update to habib 4.66 cobra or rebug 4.65.2 in cobra and rebug mode using the last PSNPatch and webman-mod.
