PS3 Questions on CFW RSX overclock

The problem is when running Red Dead Redemption on evilnat 4.90 cex OC，the
PS3 is shut down and flashing red light. other games are running well. only this game have this problem.
So have a way to solve it? Thank U

To discard that the issue is caused by the overclocking, reinstall 4.90 PEX or 4.90 CEX (without OC).

Also check that it is not an issue with the temperature or the fan.

Yeah I check the temp and fan all running normally. I tried no OC firmware thats can be run. And I find some threads someone have the same issue with me. someone can run normally（even has video on youtube）I want to know why they can run normally，they have some patch or special setting？？ Also I think RDR is a special game，maybe have a task to check GPU's frequency？

Yes! I was having the same exact problem, and everything indicates that it was the OC, as it only worked normally after I reinstalled the CEX firmware, without overclocking!! Other people I know had the same problem, and the solution was the same! Apparently Overclock breaks this game! So I confirm, for anyone who has this problem and is using OC, install a common CEX to solve the problem!

Yes! I was having the same exact problem, and everything indicates that it was the OC, as it only worked normally after I reinstalled the CEX firmware, without overclocking!! Other people I know had the same problem, and the solution was the same! Apparently Overclock breaks this game! So I confirm, for anyone who has this problem and is using OC, install a common CEX to solve the problem!

Same here i test other games that will get shutdown when I use oc red dead, transformers rise of dark spark, dead island reptile (using disc still same ),
