reasons why you get CID banned?

So you're saying HFW is completely useless except for offline gaming?
Not at all. I am saying that you can go online, like everyone else has done without any issues, no one has been banned yet using HAN in over a year (HFW makes no difference to the risk). Or you can keep worrying about stuff that has happened to nobody and stay offline. Or you can go back to OFW and be 100% sure you wont ever get a ban. :)

Thanks you for your time sir much appreciated <3 :D

I'm online on PSN since 3 months now (I made a fresh PSN 3 months ago) and never used any protection, I'm still not banned. Have I just luck?

What are the reasons why you get CID banned? Thanks I'm new here.

There are only a little users left online and it's easy to get reported when abusing modding experience online. once you get flagged by user reports then you'd get ban a lot sooner than normal users. Both CID and account ban are expected.

Probably luck or I think the reason why people get CID banned without protection is only getting reported.

What do you mean by abusing?

The only way to 100% not get banned, is to be on Official firmware, using official game discs, and nothing else.
Every time you add something to the equation that is outside of normal operation of the PS3 you introduce risk, no matter how minimal.
Some more than others: Cheating, using homebrew, large trohpy sync, etc while online can all exponentially raise your risk
You can remove some of this risk by deleting syscalls/history & disabling cfw from psnpatch if you are on cex.

The rule of thumb is: When you are online, don't do anything you can't do on a normal ps3.

Okay then I should consider myself relatively safe, since I have just 2 friends so far, never play online and just sync trophies.
