  • Ship of Harkinian is a sourceport of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time based off the decompilation efforts of the game. It features several enhancements and mods support. The Vita port is based on a custom old version (more or less Khan Charlie (6.1.2)).

    How to install:
    - Be sure to have libshacccg.suprx already installed. If you don't you can run this homebrew to get it installed: https://www.rinnegatamante.eu/vitadb/#/info/997
    - You're gonna need one of these roms of the game:
    - Ocarina of Time Debug PAL GC (not Master Quest) sha1: cee6bc3c2a634b41728f2af8da54d9bf8cc14099
    - Ocarina of Time PAL GameCube sha1: 0227d7c0074f2d0ac935631990da8ec5914597b4
    - Ocarina of Time Debug PAL GC MQ (Dungeons will be Master Quest) sha1: 50bebedad9e0f10746a52b07239e47fa6c284d03
    - Ocarina of Time Debug PAL GC MQ (Dungeons will be Master Quest) sha1: 079b855b943d6ad8bd1eb026c0ed169ecbdac7da

    - Download and install soh.vpk and extract the data files in ux0:data.
    - Download OTRGui.zip from the GitHub page and extract it in the same folder where you have your rom.
    - Launch OTRGui and generate the required otr file using your rom as source.
    - Place the otr file in ux0:data/soh.​

Rinne, do you think the N64 version could be ported to PSP ? A demake in graphics but the consoles share the same CPU architecture which is a good starting point .

Honestly, if we talk about Ship of Harkinian, likely not since libultraship adds A LOT of overhead in terms of memory usage (I had to over-optimize the vitaGL setup in order to make it to run on Vita). On top of it, the building system is very hostile to resolve (unlike Perfect Dark port which is very nice on both fronts).

Changelog:
  • Fixed Frame Interpolation altering game speed.
  • Fixed a stack overflow causing a game crash when attempting to generate a randomizer seed.
  • Fixed a crash when attempting to start a new game with a randomizer enabled.
  • Fixed a crash when "D-pad as Equip Items" is enabled.
  • Fixed a crash when talking with one of the Know-It-All Brothers about the map with French/German language.
  • Moved all external images from the otr to the executable: this will potentially fix other crash spots and will make the otr be smaller if regenerated.
  • Fixed a bug causing some cutscenes to restart even with debug features disabled when pressing Up/Down.
 
Ship of Harkinian Vita v1.2 is out!

Changelog:
- Greatly improved performances of the game. (Up to 300% performance improvement depending on scenario)
- Reduced game stuttering during assets loading.
- Reduced overall memory usage of the game.
- Updated to latest vitaGL commit.

I don't see why you can't use the French language. I was able to play in French on android. you need the usa version and the French version to get the assets for French. it's not that hard, but it can seem overly complicated. look up using other languages in general for the pc version to know what you're doing. it's been a long time since I've done this, but it's not as hard as it sounds. I reverted to English on android, so I can't show you an example. you just need to do a little work.
