Ultimate Toolbox

PS3 [RELEASE] ★ Ultimate Toolbox v2.03 - It Only Does Everything! v2.03 (FW 4.84 - 4.91)

Generally speaking, nobody cares about how a service works & what it may cost until that service goes down and/or downloads start to fail..

Since ps3xploit team began to host work online a few years ago, I think esc0rtd3w must have been out of pocket on ps3xploit domains & **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) hosting the entire time, so no coffee for him. LOL

At my end with ** ** www.ps3xploit.net > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com) > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com, the donations have so far covered the first 3 years of hosting but for the time being they are far from sufficient to pay for the 3 year renewal due in October later this year, who knows whether the Toolset will still be up & running this time next year.
Outside hosting, 25 bucks worth of donations was spent on buying a E3 flasher 2 years ago for testing purposes.
So no coffee for me either.. [emoji23]

Same for me and for @DeViL303 too... This post was 3 years ago (Apr 30, 2019):
I have paid for 3 years on my server now, but who knows after that :)

I think it's time to get some donations to renew the hosting of DeViL303.com before it expires.
This server is used for many projects, including webMAN's online covers.

I have already thought many times about offering some storage space on the ** ** www.ps3xploit.net > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com) > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com hosting package (unlimited space & bandwidth).
I could probably provide some ftp access to dedicated storage folders that devs could use at their leisure to host stuff in their brews, if only for backup urls.
I never went ahead with the idea because the level of donations does not guarantee long term viability, the current hosting is on a 3 year plan ending in September/October this year, I cannot recall the exact date.

HEN only works on XMB. When you play a PS2 game you are on OFW and you cannot use modified system files (self or sprx).

You must revert ps2 netemu to the official one found in the PUP. The netemu in Ultimate Toolbox are compatible only with CFW.

hi does this debug to upgrade the hardrive?
I think you are referring to the debug setting that allows you to copy the existing HDD data to an external drive, this setting is available in the QA flagged debug settings menu. On HEN this menu is available when HEN is ENABLED and the QA flag button combo is entered.

I am not sure if this setting will work on HEN, but its totally unrelated to this toolbox and this toolbox should have no effect on whether it works or not. You will just have to try it.

is there anyways to get the ps2 netemu.self file from the PUP without needing to reinstall the firmware ? Thank you

@DeViL303

I can't get the custom font from USB to work. I renamed it just to be sure.
Also, on the file manager all it shows for certain (most) files is like a sort of loading symbol.

The naming must be perfect and it must be on usb000, the right hand side USB port.

The file manager is just like that, only folders and images (jpg, bmp, png etc) will have proper icons.

@DeViL303
Like this "SCE-PS3-RD-R-LATIN2.TTF"?

Also, can the file manager copy files? When I press X it opens a side menu with no options. If I press Triangle it shows something about unlinking.

And on the subject of the usb port, yes I know. My PS3 only has two and I always use the one on the right for my flash drives.

Yes. Make sure its all capitals, including the file extension.

If you have no luck you can try copy the font to flash manually via FTP or a proper file manager like IRISMANs. (dev_flash/data/font/) Use dev_blind or dev_rewrite paths to enable write access to flash, dev_flash paths are read only.

Unfortunately not, its fairly limited, mostly useful for checking exact paths and if files exist, more of a file explorer and file remover. Copy is not possible.
