No, you still need it.no need for asset file ?
Well, the assets file requires the USA version at first due to a checksum. Then, another language can be incorporated into it iirc. That's how it works with multiple languages. The base has to be the USA rom though.is it possible to create the asset file from a Randomizer?
Hi, I managed to create the rom but I can't put it in French. How did you do it? I'm a novice in this field, I must have missed somethingI got it working, i have placed 2 roms on the folder "french.sfc" and "zelda3.sfc" and create the asset file !!!
"french.sfc" is the rom include the french language and "zelda3.sfc" is the usa romHi, I managed to create the rom but I can't put it in French. How did you do it? I'm a novice in this field, I must have missed something
You need the French rom, not pal. That's usually where people make a mistake.Hi, I managed to create the rom but I can't put it in French. How did you do it? I'm a novice in this field, I must have missed something
I don't know what's wrong, because it worked fine for me. Unfortunately, we can't share the assets file. I do remember the title screen is still in English, but the other language will show up when it goes through the myth thing while waiting on the title screen. It should also create a French script file iirc when you run the command. That's what I did, I created the assets file with the US version and extracted the dialogues from the French version. I modified the ini file by uncommenting the French language to activate it. But I don't see how to make the French dialogues load instead of the others.
