Here's a bonus update submission. Earlier in the year there was a bit of confusion with 2 Blue 50003 PS2s I submitted here. I had forgotten that the motherboards had been swapped from other 50003 PS2s. I had found one of the original stickers but the other was on my friends PS2, I now have had a chance to picture the sticker and post it here. Then I dumped my friends PS2 info and the motherboard on that one was one I had swapped in from a Silver PS2 so I'm posting that here too.

SCPH-30003 GH-07 C-Chassis. There was no database file so it must already be archived but it's worth noting that is a really late C-Chassis system, like right at the transition point to D-Chassis. Manufacture date of late February 2001 and there wasn't any plastic mesh over the fan. I didn't notice any other differences however. The serial number is REAL close to some D-Chassis machines I've worked on so it may have been a final batch, at least in the UK anyway.

SCPH-39003 GH-19 G-Chassis. Another V7 with a cool blue motherboard. It seems there was a period of time in mid 2002 where they were using blue tinted motherboards. Manufacture date on both the blue V7s I've seen were July-August 2002 going off of the various shell pieces with dates stamped in them.

This one is one of them "No-gap" systems where the bios chip was slip into two. Also the serial number is pre 1 million which usually means it's a C-Chassis (At least on British consoles anyway) but this one is a D-Chassis. It looks like for a short while during serial number 800,000-1,000,000 Sony were producing the C and D Chassis at the same time.
