As most of you will know by now, Stalker trillogy on consoles supports mods officially through a mod site called Mod.io, which lets you modify much of the vanilla game with ported over PC mods. However, there is a huge caveat here as you must obviously have PSN access to even use the Mod.io website in concert with the game. Anybody looked through the files and noted how we can package our own mods for jailbroken PS4's and what all can be modified? I know NOPSN versions of apps have been made or modified that bypass the need for PSN for PS3/PS4, so surely this should be possible with the Stalker games too no?
Anyway, these games are highly modable now on consoles, and we could make them really shine with graphical mods and really push it with PS4 Pro. Do file formats have to be converted over to some PS4 formats or the way it worked on PC? If so, we should be able to mod the game by replacing files like is done on many PC games.
