PS2 Save problem (SLUS-20483 )

Hello)

I have a problem with loading save from memory card - after game loading it's said there is no memory card in slot 1.
But at pcsx save work without any problem...
I have 105 games on hdd and 3 memory cards, but problem only with this one game\save

I've attach save in any formats - maybe it could be fixed by save_builder or save_creater_or mymc somehow??

Previously I've used this save with OPL's virtual memory card from hdd and it's worked well. But after some modifications with +opl partition, I've lost this ability (https://www.psx-place.com/threads/h...0-opl-cannot-get-access-to-this-folder.35201/)
So, I had to leave this variant.

Interesting, that if I've delete any my game's saves (BASLUS-20483SD4 folder from mc0:\) and boot clear game - it's create first save somehow, but if make second save right after that the game wrote - save failure. And after exit game and load it again it's said no memory card in slot 1 again...

- so, maybe is it not my save problem, but some OPL's bug??

If game don't see a memory card it means exactly as it says, it is not anyhow related to saves. This can happen if there is no memory card was inserted (some games looking mc only in first slot), or it is physically broken, or in case of OPL/HDL/USBA/PS2ESDL can be broken data or bugs in VMC support.

Open VMC in IsoBuster. If card have not ECC (exactly 8MiB and its multiplication (16, 32, 64 etc.), not more or less, must be equally) then name it *.bin, if have ECC (more than 8MiB by few hundreds KiB) name it *.vm2. If You will see garbage instead of folders and file names, it means MCFS is broken. For some reason. ;)

Of course do that from card which You game says cannot find.

The one which OPL says cannot find memory card, as You stated before that after first saving, entire card (vmc) stop to be recognized. This test will tell You if file become broken or not. On screenshot looks fine, but I don't know if this vmc from before making save or after. :P

If You want make vmc from real memory card, then create image from it eg. by Memory Card Annihilator.

For me it looks like OPL issue. Try different version or search about this specific game and OPL, maybe someone spotted this and maybe find solution (like some modes must be turned on etc.).

Unfortunately not, I do not have this game (its GameID is SLUS-20483, what You wrote is save dir ;]).

Or maybe there is some applications for pc which could help connect hdd to pc and get access to +opl folder ?(to have ability put SLUS_204.83_0.bin in hdd:\+opl\vms folder)

You did type wrong device name (/dev/xxx on Linux, UNC path on Windows) or wrongly used other parrams. Hard to tell without example. :P
