SEN Enabler

SEN Enabler - Tutorial & Latest Releases 6.2.7

im currently on 4.85 ferrox cobra 8.2 and my sen enabler and psn patch are not wroking. no matter what i do it spoofs me on 4.87 then it still says i need to system update to sign in. why dosn,t it work. its broken for me.

Can a genius tell me how to use sen enabler as there is no full step by step guide from the author or others, or maybe i couldn't find it. Please explain how to use it ? i want to play tekken tag tournament 2 online without being banned from sony. I am on rebug 4.82 CEX. and how can i go back to my cfw when ever i want to ?

hey guys so I used sen enabler, went to patch all then OFW mode to go online then I wanted to go back so I went into patch all then CFW mode but since I did that when I go to package manager, no "sub folders" appear now and packages from PSN are now just in the main Game section, not in the package manager anymore.

What can I do to fix that?
Thanks sincerely.

I think sen enabler is useless nowadays as it doesn't spoof to 4.88 the latest firmware version, and sony wont let you do anything until you are not on the latest firmware. So avoid any headaches with it. The only way currently is do update to the latest cfw 4.88 by evilnat and use the online features that way.

The problem is that with Evilnat latest CFW when you try to log in into your PSN account it says: "Please disable syscalls to continue", so how can I go online without disabling them? Better to wait for a new Sen Enabler version

What you call a problem is an effective PSN ban protection solution as custom syscalls are deemed to be one of the most ban prone features of a CFW. Ideally the PSN lock feature should always be in place in any CFW.

The greatest majority of users have no need whatsoever for custom syscalls during online gaming sessions, the PSN lock feature ensures that they won't get banned just because they forgot to disable custom syscalls before connecting to PSN.

Generally speaking, even though there might be some rare-ish exceptions, game modders using their cex mods online are the most likely ones to find this PSN lock feature problematic.
Using game mods online is subject to controversy, many believe that the practice damages the online gaming experience & therefore should not be condoned.
In any case, the fact is that little thought has been given to that potential issue seemingly, it may also have been overlooked when Nat was still around fixing bugs as it impacts few users overall. The "beta testing" phase lasted for weeks iirc, I dunno if the game mod situation was discussed at the time, I am too lazy to review all the posts. [emoji23]

But anyway until a better solution is chosen, it's quite easy (although not recommended) to turn off the PSN lock. aldostools posted the workaround in the Evilnat 4.88.2 CFW release thread a couple of weeks ago, just look for it, you only need to review Aldo's last posts in that thread, iirc the lock can be disabled manually by renaming a file & it can also be turned off with webMAN-MOD, something like that..

Regarding SEN Enabler, due to changes in the PSN login procedure in OFW 4.88, making a new SEN Enabler with an updated firmware version spoof feature is not possible until the new PSN login changes can be reproduced by SEN Enabler in earlier firmware versions.
In other words, it means that some researching & testing is required before it can happen, Evilnat said he would look into it but he has not been around for some weeks now, he may be back motivated to release new goodies, but then again he may not, so for the moment, it's safer to consider that there is no planned SEN Enabler update.

and why not just use evilnat 4.88_v_1 ??? personally I stayed on it! and there are no problems with PSN, only one problem is GTA5 servers are closed, and there is nothing else interesting for me in PSN...

my sen enabler isn't starting anymore it just reboots my ps3

Because it hasn't been updated for 4.88 PSN access due to tue changes Sony made to authentication. Only way to go online is using a 4.88 CFW as EvilNat doesn't feel it is safe at all to use.

You say that SEN currently crashes your D-REX 4.84.2 system on start, I assume you mean the self app, not the plugin.
Have you tried launching it from CEX rather than DEX kernel mode?

Yes everything works OK but some homebrew like reactpsn can't identify my CFW and I think it is because of the spoof but as soon as I start SEN Enabler my ps3 goes black and soft reboots or something similar because when it's on again it isn't doing the boot animation and straight on SEN Enabler again.
I'm not at home currently but I will try out your suggestion
