I used a programming I.A and gave him the ps3toolchain and SDL2PSL1GHT tools to study and finally he gave me the Sonic Mania project for PS3. I only had to tell him to implement the I.A in the game. He was in charge of reviewing all the code and how it works. All the improvements were made 100% with I.A.

Do you think Mario Kart 64 and Zelda could be ported to the PS3?

Great job! I know the previous version and had really enjoyed playing it. Now your latest release looks absolutely polished and could go for a commercial release.

Just one question:
I noticed the PKG hosted on mediafire is 204 MB which is about the size of the previous version and absolutely fine.
But the file SonicMania.pkg hosted on github is only 5.5 MB.
What is is with that small file, could you please explain? Thank you.

These are RetroEngine Modding rules, do not provide a project with the Data.rsdk included, that's why on GitHub there is only what I did which would be the EBOOT.BIN and the files that the game generates, the one from MediaFire is the same only with the Data.rsdk

@DropSonic is there any difference between your port and @Charles_n_town one?
It has many more improvements such as Plus mode enabled, music loop fixed, you can detect 4 joysticks at the same time, you can use mods through the DevMenu (activated with the "Select" button), the game adapts to the PS3 resolution, all crashes fixed, and then all the improvements from StrawFox64 (I had a copy of his GitHub before he updated the repository and the PS3 version was lost).

In fact, Sonic Mania for PS3 was made by Ultra0, but then he abandoned the project. A year passed and StrawFox64 took it over and improved the port. In terms of performance, time passed and StrawFox64 disappeared and the GitHub with the repository was abandoned, until one day his repository was updated to the latest version, but for PC, of RSDKv5. The PS3 project disappeared!

Until a few days ago, because I had a copy of the PS3 repository before it became the PC repository, and in just 12 days I added these improvements and with everything it has now I can say that the port is complete.

StrawFox64:https://github.com/StrawFox64/RSDKv5-Decompilation //not PS3
