PS2 Sony PSX DESR-5000 power supply

Hi all,

I have a PSX DESR-5000 that I'm looking to convert the internal power supply from the original 100v Japanese one to a Australian/European 240v.

Has anyone attempted this at all yet? And if so, what did you use to achieve this.

I have seen pictures of the power supply, and they look similar to the fat model ps2 power supply, so wondering if a 240v one can simply be installed in place of the original.

Any help on this would be great.
