.If you launch homebrew (any app?) after HEN is launched from installer, before the download dialog comes up, it will freeze.

.After HEN enables from web (initial install), if you have slow internet and can get into another xmb menu (Network Settings) and push circle to cancel, the ui will not be correct and you get stuck in menu if you try to go back into the same menu again, forcing a reboot to fix. If you go into a different menu, the xmb will still function but the overlay will still be on top.

None of the installation work it's been 3 hrs.
 
Exactly this happened to my ps3 superslim. I tried like 52 hours ago on ps3 slim 3004 and it worked. Now on my personal ps3superslim 4204 it freezes everytime it start instaling hen.@aldostools @esc0rtd3w would there be any solution for this?
 
Auto-installer ENABLING doesnt work at all for the new HEN 4.90.1, i have tried 40 times.Cleared data, in between, such as cache, website data etc.

The alternate installer freezes, probably not updated for 4.90.1

slim CECH-2104A, installed HEN 4.90.1 over working HEN 4.89 :(:(:(

Why do you use hen on your 2104? On this you can use cfw. on my 3004 slim i installed hfw4.90 and then hen and it is working. on the supersim it is not it still freezes...

Sorry i had it wrong its a CECH-3004B, is CFW doable on such a system when having HFW 4.90.1 installed?
 
For those having freezing issues, and have old plugins, you can use the R2 button while hen is enabling to bypass plugins, you can also place a blank boot_plugins.txt on USB drive. This will allow you to remove any plugins that are causing crashing, like outdated webmanmod.

If you use webMAN MOD, update it to the latest 1.47.44 to prevent freezes.

Put an empty boot_plugins.txt in the root of the USB drive or hold R2 to bypass the plugins when HEN is enabled.

It is highly recommended to update to webMAN MOD 1.47.44 BEFORE upgrade to PS3HEN 3.2.0

Thx for support! However that didnt solve my issue.

boot_plugins.txt on USB-root did nothing for my PS3 system. In either USB-slot. But i know this helped another dude with similar issues.

Using R2 yielded instead of freeze directly after "Welcome to HEN 3.2.0", but with holding R2 i got "HEN failure, please reboot PS3" written in red letters then pipipipp(3x) and need to manually needed restart. When frozen after not holding R2 it needs to remake filestructure. The other HEN versions worked flawlessly all of the versions.

Uninstalled webmanmod & multiman. Didnt improve anything either.

Had this installed before updating to HFW 4.90.1. Now as a part of testing to try getting HEN 4.90.1 working, unistalled it, still nothing works.
 
FINALLY OMG got it. OMG It was a hassle. YEAH. Like 200 tries later. Did use that USB stick with all boot_plugins.text boot_plugins.txt boot_plugins (plain created as text by windows) placed on root, ON the FIRST created user on the PS3 (the other created users did not work), unistalled Webmanmod and unoff-multiman, reinstalled HFW again and then again, USB-stick on the left CECH3004B (slim) slot. Finally got it. Oh happy days. :)


Haha "Welcome to HEN 3.2.0" next msg "Latest HEN avaliable 3.1.1" :)


But omg now there is issue with multiman (version: unofficial the latest from brewology :()
