In previous versions of hen, if you add the seg_gamedebug section to category_game, then when you update the list of games in webman, the list was updated and xmb was updated, now it doesn't work, do you have any idea what is stopping it?
Unfortunately, this option only works under certain conditions. After starting the PS3 you have to wait a few seconds (5-10) before activating Hen. If you activate Hen too fast, the /app_home/PS3_game Icon will not appear. This option does not work at all with an external ntfs hdd connected. Tested with a super slim and Hen 3.2.1If I recall correctly, seg_gamedebug (aka app_home/PS3_GAME or PlayStation) was remove from category_game.xml in HEN. webMAN MOD has a setting in /setup.ps3 that when /app_home is checked it adds the seg_gamedebug.
If the option is unchecked, check it, save the settings and reboot.
That option is used by webMAN MOD for many features, like refresh XMB, launch PSN content, ROMS, etc.

I discovered this by accident yesterday.
there seems to be some issues with some non-sony controllers and perhaps some usb devices on 3.2.0+. is it possible that you are plugging in a controller to charge, or some usb device, and it is still plugged in on next boot?Hello everyone,
I have a very annoying recurring problem with HEN 3.2.0 (4.90 Firmware) installed on a PS3 super slim.
I did a completely clean install, I uninstalled my previous HEN and HFW, reformatted the HDD, installed HFW 4.90 (twice), went through all the steps of installing latest HEN, installed the latest Webman Mod etc. Everything was working perfectly. I actually have 2 HDDs so I did the whole process on both HDDs and they both worked perfectly.
Then after using the system for about a week, a problem began. Every time I would try to enable HEN, it just hangs on the enabling screen. The clock/dial in the top right hand side of the screen keeps spinning as if something is happing but it just keeps hanging and HEN never gets enabled. This is different to the freezing issue cause by older versions of Webman etc. Like I said before this was a completely clean install with the latest of everything. No matter how many times I rebooted the system and tried to enable HEN the same problem occurred and HEN just hanging on the enabling screen with the clock/dial in the top right hand side of the screen spinning continuously.
So before I mentioned I had a second HDD that I had set up and had been working perfectly. That HDD had not been touched sinnce the time it had been set up initially and working perfectly. So I put the second HDD in and to my surprise it had exactly the same problem. HEN just hangs and wont enable.
I tried reinstalling the HFW and HEN many times and the problem still persisted. In the end the only way I could get it to work was by uninstalling HFW and HEN, reformatting the HDD and installing everything again. So after going through all that I got the system working again. But after about a week of using the system with no problem now the problem has reoccurred AGAIN. HEN just hangs on the enabling screen with the clock/dial in the top right hand side of the screen spinning continuously.
I have looked everywhere for a solution to this particular problem and I cant find one. I can only find solutions to the freezing issue cause by older versions of Webman etc. but this Is not my problem. I hope I can find a solution as I don't want to have to uninstall everything, re-format, re-install everything every week or so every time this problem occurs.
Would you please try testing without anything plugged into USB ports, when this happens again?Hello everyone,

IIRC I had this problem on a SS a while back. Was an older version of HEN but disabling DLNA in setting resolved the issue for me. Might be worth a try.Hello everyone,

i have updated HAN for 4.90 if you wanna try it, btwHi, since i switched to HEN im having many and i really mean many Youtube freezing issues, almost every time i use the app it freezes, this is happening since i switched to HEN, did i did something wrong? When i first installed it, the installer failed, then tried the alternate one and worked. Then i reverted to OFW and reinstalled HEN with the alternate installer. Also im seeing some graphical glitches in Youtube(like the name of a song it's shown twice and the circles that should be around the channels logos in-video are small and inside the logos). With HAN this didn't happened at all. What should i do? I only have webman mod lite and multiman installed. By the way many times a folder called App home ps3 games folder has appeared, is this normal?.
My dude i really wanna try HAN but HEN blew my mind, my dude i can finally play some games that are disk only, and are impossible to find physically( and in the country i live is easier to win the lottery than find those games) I can only play those with HEN. Perhaps it's something with HEN and Youtube? Maybe i can give you guys a .log file? If i can how do i do that? Should i format the system and reinstall HEN? With the Apollo save tool now i won't lose the progress in some games because the save is copy protected,(that's why i didn't thought about formatting)
you can download socat and switch into debug mode, using HFW Tools, under Developer section. After you reboot, the debug payload will be used when you enable hen. You need to have a lan connection to your ps3 and can dump a log.Maybe i can give you guys a .log file? If i can how do i do that?
Will this version of socat also work on debug Cobra from evilnat?you can download socat and switch into debug mode, using HFW Tools, under Developer section. After you reboot, the debug payload will be used when you enable hen. You need to have a lan connection to your ps3 and can dump a log.
You can just download this zip if you want. http://ps3xploit.me/files/socat.zip
