PS2 [Testers Needed] Open PS2 Loader with exFAT support (files above 4GB on USB)

that's funny cause I did the math to make sure we were on the safe size with ZSO files on a 32 bit system.
Turns out, with pure 32 bit arithmetic (as ZSO code does), you can read up to 4TB ZSO before it overflows and causes a zero division error.
I guess we won't ever have to worry about that xD

Well... My answer was solely related to his question. Fragment-support doesn't allow bigger HDDs being used.

Completely new at this but im running FMCB v1.966 and OPL v1.2.0-Beta-1901-77e766b and it can read exFAT. I have only tested a couple of games but all seems to work fine. Hopefully this can help someone!

Ah. Is it something that is the works for the future? Specifically internal drives
There is some related work, but it is quite on the backburner for now... Stuff like ZSO already helps a lot and a 2TB drive can hold ~1000 games with it!

The issue with FAT32 is that not only does it take longer to load but it tells me games are fragmented when they work fine on the ones from the ZSO repository.

Just had the weirdest bug , i'm using OPL 1.2.0 v1915 , i placed some demos on an exFAT stick ( yes, they're really demos ) and i tried to rename them with OPL then..they're just gone from the list . I checked the stick on PC and indeed, they're not in the DVD folder and i have extra free space , so instead of renaming , OPL deleted them .

Interesting bug, thanks for the report.

Hi I have some questions

1. The github repository has 2 or 3 different files witch contain exactly same versions of opl. Is there any differences between them?

2. does popstarter VCDs work with exfat? There is no option to enable ps1 games in settings.

3. Is there any need to change allocation unit size when formatting in exfat or we should keep it default?

Also enabling mode 1 accurate reed, made intro video of the game bully no stutters.

Thank you

1. They are all the same, but I guess the compressed ELF is best (smaller).

2. No that feature isn't implemented in this version of OPL.

3. It is recommended to use 32K (I think that's default?).

I have test several games (about 17) in ZSO and exfat format. The only thing that doesn't work is mode 4. Videos don't skip. Any freezes solved by enabling mode 1.
Thank you for this great work.
32K is default size for exfat for my 32G and 16G pen drives.
