I started trying to mod my Playstation 2 FAT years ago with the 007 swap, and ever since I've been chasing the dream of playing all the games I never got to play as a kid. I got some Win XP era computers about a week ago and I thought I was finally going to be able to make my dream ps2, and after a week of following tutorials, reading forums, and jury-rigging a computer together with Win 7 I had it running with a newbie package from ps2-home.com but i couldn't get opl to put its folders onto my HDD. After some more reading I notices something about the newbie builds being different from the daily build and that i would need a daily build. So I go to get the daily build from ps2-home and I'm greeted with and error 503.... I've tried doing everything I could to get back on the site, if I use a free vpn I can get on the site but it tells me I cant use their website with a vpn....

So after much internal deliberating, Ive decided to reach out here. I'm sorry if my post is too long but if anyone has some time they could spare to walk me through modding my ps2 with resources I would greatly appreciate it.

Well after a day of going through this site I have my ps2 finally running games off of my HDD!!! Turns out i just had to move a pin connector to make the old HDD be read as a master unit. Thanks!
