  • These patches for BIN+CUE games images (all regions) allow:
    • start new game
    • enter mansion
    • load game
    • have music (CDDA)
  • Additional note for Tomb Raider II:
The audio goes out of sync during the cutscenes.
They do start sync'ed, but after a few seconds the animation seems to have been slowed down.
Encountered the same problem with other emus. Meh.
I hope someone makes a better fix.

    1. Download patch.
      Unpack it.

    2. Download PPF-o-Matic:
      https://www.psx-place.com/resources/ppf-o-matic.507/.

    3. Launch PPF-o-Matic:

    4. To look for files use floppy disks:

In "ISO File" look for e.g. "Tomb Raider (Europe).bin" (for Europe version).
In "Patch" look for "Tomb Raider (Europe).ppf" (for Europe version).

    5. Here is an example how it should looks like:

    6. "Apply".

    7. Grab and install latest webMAN MOD 1.47.28 from here:
      https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases.

    8. Copy patched "Tomb Raider (Europe).bin" with "Tomb Raider (Europe).cue" from patch
into "hdd0:/PSXISO" onto HDD in your PS3.

Wow! Can you describe in detail what the issue was preventing them from booting? I always thought it was weird that they wouldn't work normally (though there was some disc swapping trick that would get it working apparently).

Made an account just to say thank you! someone can take this a step further and convert it to a pkg but running it as an iso in webman MOD seems to work. I plan to complete both but waiting on my component cables to come in.

These patches (TR, TR2, Ninja: Shadow of Darkness) were made by krHACKen.
I only added it to the resources.

I could not change the ownership of a post because the forum engine does not allow it.

Add a mention to him, when i was reading your post i could not find any mention to the author, so i imagined it was you who made them
The info in wiki has been fixed btw, when i added them i said "made by jolek" but now it tells "made by krHACKen" :)
Insert joke here about lara croft and krHACken tentacles

Currently trying to get TR2 going on a CFW PS3. Regarding the patcher, TR2 is a multi track game, do you patch each bin file? Or should I create a single bin/cue and then patch?

Cant edit my post for some reason so will just answer my own question incase this comes up in someone else's search.
Step 1. create a single bin/cue using daemon tools lite and imgburn
Step 2. patch the bin
Step 3. replace the cue file with the correct one from the patch folder
Step 4. most likely you bin folder was renamed while creating a single bin/cue, make sure to rename the bin the same name as the patched cue file from the folder. you can test to make sure it worked currently by making sure when you click the patched cue file it opens the bin. If you have Daemon tools it will mount it to a drive as a music disc and you should be able to play all the tracks from disc in windows media player.
