PS3 Trapped in Factory / Service Mode

Nope, console boots normally

It doesn't matter if the console boots or not.

If you updated FW while the red square box was present on screen, your console is bricked.

If you didn't update FW with the red box, you need to exit FSM using the lv2diag.self file method, or by using the Network -> Custom Firmware Tools -> Toggle FSM, or by installing Rebug Toolbox and exiting FSM.

I thought lv2diag.self doesn't work above 3.55, even if you're on CFW.

lv2diag doesnt work on 4.84.
Network -> Custom Firmware Tools -> Toggle FSM, console hangs.
"or by installing Rebug Toolbox", how can i install it in fsm mode?

Then the only way to exit FSM is by CFW Tools or Rebug Toolbox. I don't recall any other way than those.

Just install the PKG of Rebug Toolbox as usual.

If you can't exit FSM using CFW Tools nor Rebug Toolbox, I'm afraid that a FW update was done on FSM and the console is indeed useless.
