PS3 (TuT) Make your own coldboot logo and sounds

not too big; not too small. I made it as big as I could without it looking stretched out. PS3 is in the header; HEN the footer, so PS3 appears first, then HEN.

I put the egg in the footer, so it appears later after ps3:

I captured both to compare.

The 1st one I like the best, but there is only one small issue. The PS3 text fades left to right, which looks good and is correct, but when the HEN text comes in, it does not continue the flow from left to right, it just fades in. Is there a way to continue the fade from left to right so all the letters flow together seamlessly?

The 2nd one with the egg looks ok also, but there is an artifact on the top left that is visible

I would like to use the 1st one with PS3HEN text only for the default if we can get the flow from left to right looking better.

Yeah, I think it will do that if I put all text in the header, then leave the footer blank. I'm not sure if the coldboot gets its instructions from the vsmx script in the RAF or the custom_render.rco. I think one overrides the other. I've messed with the script a few times, but I think my idea will be the easiest way.

Thats basically exactly what i had in mind. If i could ask one more small favor. Can you make one a bit smaller just for comparison?

This one is basically perfect, but i just wanted to see what a slightly smaller one would look like. This one looks a bit wide, but its the best looking one i think so far.

Here i go being annoying again lol

Can you go a size in between the big one and the last one? It just seems like one was too big and this one too small.

The last thing is it looks flat. Anyway to make it a bit more "3d" looking, like the image below that has a lighter and darker shade going on?

like this? with both gradient and 3d looking, the letters look fat, so I might want to choose one over the other.

That looks better from the preview. I can test it when I get home.

A suggestion maybe you could outline the text with a lighter color, kinda like a small glow effect and the gradient would be more visible.

Ok, just tested this one and its perfect. This is the one i will use for new default.

Can you make 3 variations, just adding a small text under PS3HEN text that is right justified for DEBUG, USB, and DEX?

Something like this, but have the lower text match the PS3HEN text, with the gradient, etc

Im an idiot, i forgot to change the font for lower text lol

This might look better without the word "mode" in there now with the correct font.

EDIT: After seeing what the word DEX looks like with phatboy slim font, the X looks weird though. Maybe we can use another font for the lower text. The others look fine, but that X is weird.

What do you think?

The small "x" looks like an H with phatboy slim font. Also weird lol

Maybe we can find a different font to use for lower text. I tried the birdman font, but the D looks weird with that one

Ok, i found a good font to use. Its called The Rave is in Your Pants. Looks like the Rebug font actually

The "B" looks weird, like a 3 when spelling USB, but i think overall its a good font to use for it
