Alrighty, so here's what I did. Unpacked a fresh ps3 resigner to the desktop and got rid of my old one (it was full of stuff and I wasn't sure if that was causing conflicts), then followed the guide again but this time put the iso on my desktop (before it was going to another partition). Again the weird conga-line of BIN.ENC popped up only this time I was able to successfully rename it to ISO.BIN.ENC within the save field. Followed the guide line for line and my final result was a lot of loading followed by error 80028F17 - a disc read error. I should also note that I made sure I only had the package folder on my thumbstick again to avoid conflicts. I think this time it worked only the game (Decathlete Collection) wasn't compatible. I'm going to try again with my NTSC-J Silent Hill 3 and my PAL Silent Hill 3 backups and see if they work. The game takes a while to convert due to its size, I'll let everyone know what the results are.

You don't need to pass one by one like that
Drag and drop the package and it will resign and output signed pkg

@habib NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED ps2 running on super slim without any problems just read the how to on my post above if you follow every step then almost all games work

this is with very noob friendly tut

@TriangleCranium you dont need debug pkg enabler, only han enabler
@habib when i had my ps2 pkg made i could not install with han enabler i had to use debug pkg enabler to install my ps2 game. if i use the han anabler and try to install the ps2 pkg it gave me an error but if i use debug pkg and install it the game installs and plays just fine.
so maybe ps2 pkgs only work with debug pk enabler?

I know what I'm talking about, I'm one of the devs on project
Follow the steps and then come back
Debug pkg should never be used

You resigned .ENC directly and then repacked. My tut doesn't need that

The same thing happens to me, I get the error code 80029567 mentioned by Sakimotor in his tutorial but works when I enable debug mode. Is your PS3 PAL region? If not maybe it's some odd rare bug that doesn't happen a lot.

my ps3 is pal. if i use the debug pkg enabler i can install and play all ps2 games almost

That's very interesting then. I wonder if other people on PAL Super Slim and later Slim models have had the same thing happen to them as us.

@habib Is it at all possible that there is a minor bug with PAL systems (mine is on OFW) causing packages to only be installed through debug mode?

Also I got Silent Hill 3 (PAL) working with Sakimotor's method just now.
