I have problems with the PS3 SIGNER, I just drag the PKG file to the .exe (Signer) and I get an error, something like "You can not run this version on the computer" I'm currently using Windows 8.1 32 Bits

I hope you can help me with my problem.

Does anyone have a way to run SwapMagic or OPEN PS2 LOADER (opl)? I installed some mods on a ps2 game that require OPL, Ive been looking into this all day and i think my only solution is to try writing in an elf file into the slus file on iso (apparently compatible on ps3s ps2classics)

youtube./watch?v=STGOgT_FpKM
or getting launch.elf through a game

You are using an old version, try using version 2.0

Hello guys I'm back here with another issue I know this is a great tutorial and I have been running many games off my ps3 superslim for many days now and all the games work thanks to this article but I have run into a serious problem, now all my ripped ps1 games work and play fine on a emulator(PSXBeetleHW) with no issues whatsoever , but when I install my games on my ps3 they run fine but for one error the background music on all the games is slow in playback and as a result the audio out put feels deep, bassy and slow. The Sound effects work fine but the BGM is super slow and LAGGY like Crash Team Racing, Gran Turismo, NFS III. Just to rule out all doubts of compatibility I downloaded a Rif and pkg and Lo and Behold it works fine with no issues (tried Crash Team Racing ).I dont know what I am Doing wrong I have followed the Guide to the letter and have installed many PS3 and PS2 games. Is it beacuse I'm using NTSC copies on A pal Region Console??? or is it because I'm Not merging the .cue file with the .bin or .iso file???? I have read that the .cue file is the one that points to all the location of the files on the CD. P.S. Tried a few games without the .cue file on Beetle previously perfectly running games give strange audio issues like lag or no BGM etc etc.

You must extract audio file from iso using cdmage program and convert file to aa3 file and inject aa3 file into eboot file. I develop tool that inject audio sound bgm automattically ? If you need it i will send it to you.

ayassinsayed please show me a guide online on how to do this ,as tempting as your offer sounds I would like to learn how to do this manually as it may come useful in the future

yes please send me the tool's link
PSX-CDDA-Injector v1.0 By ayassinsayed
I develop Tool which it can inject aa3 files into EBOOT.PBP automatically and update offest, inject aa3 files in EBOOT.PBP to run iso+ccda (BGM)
step to usage:-
1.Setup python .
1.Extarct PSX-CDDA-Injector v1.0 By ayassinsayed.rar file using winrar.
2.convert track (wav file) to (aa3 files) by using by using Sound Forge Pro 11.0
3.put your track files(aa3 files) into aa3 folder and put (EBOOT.PBP) beside script.
4.run python script (PSX-CDDA-Injector v1.0 By ayassinsayed.py) and enjoy.

note:
- script will inject aa3 track file in EBOOT.PBP , fix (iso file size at offest 0x10000.) inject tracks table at 0x10c00 offest)
- i test in alot of PSX games and work with BGM in good quality.

Hi everyone, I do not know if I write in a good thread, I have a question whether I can create a rap file if the file does not have a game. sorry for my english I write through a translator google

After smashing my head against a brick wall getting PS2Classics GUI to work (who the hell makes a tool dependent on system locale when Unicode's been built into every OS made in the last 15 years?), I only have one minor issue left. After encoding my copy of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, I spent a while editing the game art to make the icon and background images. The problem is, PIC0.png has its transparency replaced with black pixels every time I make the package. I tried using the default placeholder PIC0.png, and that one keeps its transparent corners. Gimp says both images use the same color space and are 1 layer. Is there some trick I need to do to get transparency to work right?

[EDIT]

Figured it out. PS2Classics GUI always chucks out the alpha channel for some reason. To get transparent overlay images, you need to repack the ICON0/PIC0/PIC2 images with a package editor like TrueAncestor.
